The hotel, without a doubt, is lovely: beautifully designed, great staff, great amenities. However, we were under the impression that the hotel was in Punta del Este, when it is quite a long drive away. If you are looking for a getaway spot, away from town, this is perfect. But if you want to walk around town without a car... more
