After reading all the reviews for Punta del Estes, this was one location I got all wrong. First, none of the hotels are directly on the beach in Punta. Hotel price was US $90+tax which is the best rate you can get in Punta Del Este during the peak summer season. Hotel room was small, however, it was adequate. Service was great.
