The hotel is very cute pleasant house with nice garden, terrace, swimming pool and parrilla. The location is good, it is not far from the beach (I would use bike or car to get there though), surrounded by pretty looking houses. You can borrow the bike and go around the neighborhood. Staff is very pleasant and always ready to help.... More

The place has great decoration, perfect location, and excellent service. It sits in a cosy neighborhood, with great acessibility, but silence and a great garden. Perfect for travellers looking for nice accomodation, but still aiming at Punta and all its attractions!

Very nice house, large room, very well decorated, quiet and nice neighborhood, very clean and the staff very nice. Breakfast it s ok, not the best. It s not a place for kids, what makes it better. Feels like younare in a french country side house. No restaurant, no bar, no extras, but very charming and pleasant.

We enjoyed our stay at this boutique hotel. This is a place where you feel like at home. Staff is very friendly, rooms are clean and nicely furnished. Pool area is very quiet and the breakfast is good. Hotel smells very good. I recommend a car to go around in this area. So far one of the best hotels I've... More

My family traveling with two young children (2, 4) had intended to spend three nights here on our two month tour through S America. Much to our surprise, the largest room they had available barely fit our suitcases. Although the house is nice and the room clean, we felt we couldn't pay the +$200/night rate for such a tiny space.... More

Dear Rowena, We truly appreciate you taking the time to write some comments about Joshepine Boutique Hotel Having said that, we would like to remind you that you made a reservation for a Junior Suite, which is a very comfortable room thought for two guests only. As well, we also have the Superior Suite and the Deluxe Flat both ment... More

Josephine offered comfortable rooms, excellent service, wonderful decoration, in a cozy neighborhoud, some blocks away from the agitation of Punta del Este. If your search is for a romantic stay, at a comfortable place, this is definitelly the place!

I stayed there for 5 nights during New Year’s Holiday and loved it! It´s a beautiful house located in a residential area out of the crowded of the peninsula. It´s more a B&D then a Hotel. Rooms are clean, modern, beds, pillows and sheets are comfortable and bathroom is spacious enough. Rooms are not huge (top floor rooms are quite... More

If you are in Punta del Este for the nightlife, forget this hidden gem. Josephine is a very exclusive boutique hotel for couples who are looking peace and good life. Only 7 rooms, each one more cozy. Fantastic breakfast, excellent bed, efficient staff. Take a rest. You can connect in a free wifi system and read a book near by... More

went with expectations of seeing a boutique hotel with personal, q thing never happened, first we find the language problem, just speak Spanish, is uncomfortable asking zone data, whether restaurants, shops, places to visit for signs q very uncomfortable, has poor sound insulation between rooms if (separates q a wooden door is closed, there is no wall) so the noise... The location, the ambience, and staff were the highlights of our stay. This was a home in a quiet residental area that was converted into a small inn. The conversion was done tastefully, the grounds are beautifully landscaped with a peek of the ocean through the trees, and a beautiful beach at the end of the road about 500 meters... More
