Stayed here for one night on a tour of Uruguay. A car is essental if staying here as it is a good distance from beaches, restaurants and other attractions. We had a room with an adjacent bathroom opposite the bedroom exclusively for our use. I think all the other rooms are fully ensuite. Bedroom was of a good size. Comfortable... More

Red Wind is a lovely, safe B&B whose owners appear to care deeply about the comfort and enjoyment of the people who stay there. The rooms are clean and comfortable with many amenities, including a refrigerator, microwave, dish ware, hair dryer, etc. The breakfast in simple with juice, coffee, fruit and home made pastries. They offered to provide sandwiches and... More

The whole property speaks of being well cared for. The rooms and common areas are immaculately kept. The pool is a delight for both older folks and young children. The staff and the owner, who was there every day, tried very hard to meet all our needs and offered excellent advice. It was an excellent place for a family to... More

The Red Wind is a pretty bed and breakfast in Punta, located in a beautiful and quiet residential area, but near to all the activity of downtown Punta. The rooms are well decorated and maintained, spacious and clear, the gardens and the swimming pool are small and pretty, and the service, managed directly by its owners, are excellent. Is a... More

This B&B is in a quiet location of Punta but that does not take anything anyway from it. Beautiful garden, good sized rooms, very friendly and helpful staff and most importantly the home cooked bread and pastries.... All made for a fabulous stay. You will need a car I'd you stay here.

Look no further for the best place in PDE. This small BnB is off the beaten path but near the beach and the bus line. The hosts went over and above to make us comfy. The room are 5* and the breakfast was superb. Cheese, ham, fruit, coffees, teas, homemade buns, breads and jams! Back the hosts - can’t say... More

A friend and I were desperate to find a place to stay in Punta. These guys were very accommodating. The location is pretty good, but you'll need a car. You'll want a car in Punta anyways. And be sure to go to Jose Ignacio!
