We have stayed during the weekend at this nice hotel. Excellent location, close to the beaches, shopping center & cinemas at a fancy district but not paying elevated rate. The room was great - we stayed as a family at a triple + double room with communication in between them. Continental breakfast was superb. My 9 years old daughter who... More

This was an older hotel but kept up very well. I didn't notice any kind of decent views from the rooms. The rooms were older but clean and well kept. It looked like the bathrooms had been remodeled recently. The common area felt like the living room as someone's house. The staff was very friendly. There is a grocery store... More

We stayed for 2 days in the Camelot Hotel in Punta del Este and it was great. The rooms are a bit small but comfy, the bathroom is clean and well equipped and the breakfast is very good. Value for money was not too good, but we were in Punta during high season (January) and it is very hard to... More

This a beach hotel with a small nice pool and outside hot jacuzzi. Wonderful park with chairs and small tables, trees and flowers everywhere; we stayed there at night tasting the wonderful Tannat red wine. Short walking distance from Shopping mall, Disco Supermarket, Ancap gas station, two bus stops to city center and Tinto Restó and Café (try it!). You... More

The front reception area, pool and grounds are charming but the rooms are very small. Don't plan on spending much time in them. Showers are small too but they seem to be in hotels all over the world. The place is showing it's age but the place is very clean and the staff are friendly and accomodating. The buffet breakfast... More

This is a simple, but good hotel located 2 blocks from the Punta Shopping. The room is ok. The breakfast is very good. The girl in the front desk is very sympathetic and helpful. On the other hand, the guy told us we would have a late checkout but when we were leaving, we had to pay half a night.... More

My husband and I stayed here and were not extremely pleased. We went during the high Season in December (during the Holidays) and felt that the rooms were extremely tight, small shower (needs updating overall), no views, and just felt outdated. At the time we booked in July all hotels in Punta were already sold out so we stayed at... More

I discovered Hotel Camelot coming from a hostel when stayed in Punta de Leste. The hotel is nice. The room is not so big but the staff is very nice. Very good breakfast too. It is well located, close to Punta Shopping. The only point is that like everything in Punta, the prices goes sky high during the season, specially... More

I don't know the rates for this hotel in high season--mid Dec thru Feb--but I was very pleased with $58 per night thru Expedia. One great plus: included buffet breakfast in the upstairs dining room. Another plus: the location just north of Ave. Roosevelt on Av Pedragosa Sierra --directly across the street from the pricier AWA Boutique hotel--is in a... More

Surprised at the other reviews as we had a wonderful experience in Hotel Camalot. The hotel is located in the design district, about 5 blocks from the beach. It is a residentual area and we found Punta del Este quite a difficult place to get around with a pram and without a car. However, the hotel itself was lovely, beautiful... More
