Staying at Sanaa Nights Hotel while we were at the Sanaa city was nice. We felt absolutely safe and secure. The prices are reasonable and highly affordable too. The host was a nice and friendly person who was always ready to help. He even arranged for us to look around the city’s major sightseeing destinations. The room where we stayed... More

For a unique place in stay in the old city of Sanaa, this is the place. The host Kais, ( great English speaking ) treats all guests with what all of us hope to experience. He asked me to share several meals as his guest and refused to accept anything from me. The rates at the hotel were only $... More

Despite the current media backlash against Yemen, Sana'a seemed completely safe when we were there, and is filled with some of the friendliest people in the Middle East. Sana'a Nights Hotel is great value, has fantastic staff, and is the perfect launch pad for a Yemen adventure. Highly recommended.

I stayed at this hotel because I had read good reviews here and at Lonely Planet. The hotel itself is basic but essentially ok - however the bathroom was not clean, the toilet dirty and only worked by lifting the whole lid of the toilet, the shower barely worked and the tap on the dirty basin leaked the whole time.... This hotel is perfectly located in the centre of the old quarter of sanaa. It is a traditional historical sanaa property of around six floors (no lift). It is kept very clean by the owner mr kais who is warm and friendly without being intrusive. He gives good sensible advice about sanaa and yemen, and will arrange anything you require... More

We've just returned from a three day trip to Sana'a, Yemen. We stayed at the Sana'a Nights Tourist Hotel, run by the delightfully friendly and helpful Kais. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this hotel. Kais organised everything for us, collected us from the airport, organised a half day city tour on our first day, took us shopping... Good value for money hotel in the old city. Rooms are simple but clean and the bathroom has hot water. Breakfast although simple is good with fresh bread, cheese, honey/jam.

We arrived in Sana'a at 4am, after a crazy trip in Cairo. We were two girls alone, for the first time in Yemen, not speaking arabic, but we never felt more safe, at ease, and pampered. The people at Sana'a Nights were so welcoming, we felt like we were arriving home, not to a strange far-away country. The hotel is... More
