Despite the current media backlash against Yemen, Sana'a seemed completely safe when we were there, and is filled with some of the friendliest people in the Middle East. Sana'a Nights Hotel is great value, has fantastic staff, and is the perfect launch pad for a Yemen adventure. Highly recommended.

I stayed at this hotel because I had read good reviews here and at Lonely Planet. The hotel itself is basic but essentially ok - however the bathroom was not clean, the toilet dirty and only worked by lifting the whole lid of the toilet, the shower barely worked and the tap on the dirty basin leaked the whole time.... nothing bad to say about the place. Everything was clean, hot showers 24h great breakfast and they can plan a great tours! My stay was too short, hopefully I can go back again in the near future! Thanks Kais!

This hotel is perfectly located in the centre of the old quarter of sanaa. It is a traditional historical sanaa property of around six floors (no lift). Good value for money hotel in the old city. Rooms are simple but clean and the bathroom has hot water. Breakfast although simple is good with fresh bread, cheese, honey/jam.
