I chose the hotel as an overnight stay due to a long transit waiting time. It is approx. 25 to 30 mins away from the airport, which is translated in 65-80 AED for the taxi, depending on the time of the day that you drive to the hotel. The online registration was successful, the service quick and friendly and for... More

My bro and I were kind of looking for a Filipino restaurant which is quite far different from the usual (which is noisy and crowded). we found Kuya Juan Restaurant through the recommendation of our German friend Roman. We immediately liked the place. Good location, easy parking, dimmed lighting, well uniformed staff and good menu selections. Only if the service... More

First impressions again quite good, especially after have the misfortune of staying in Dubai's worst hotel the night before (but that my friend is another story. Al Ain was clean enough, rooms in good condition. But i cannot believe some Reviewers saying 8 restaurants, i counted 3 or 4 two of them being Thai and One a pub. The pub... More

I have stayed in this hotel a few times and it is basic but generally OK. The plus is you get to share the resources (pool, gym, etc) of the Royal Meridien next door. The place is clean. Breakfast is basic but OK and there is a choice of restaurants. However note there appears to be a minor scam re... More

Said it before and may I say it again, this is a good quality smaller hotel located on the corniche, if a bit further back than it used to be, ideal for those of us who want a clean, friendly, quiet place to stay with a great staff and selection of restaurants and bars on site. If you need 5... More

I first stayed here in 1975, and it has not changed a great deal, the best drinking bar in the city, food very good in the same bar. Very central, shopping etc very close within walking distance. Easy car parking, free for residents.
