The hotel is some 2 hour drive from Abu Dhabi with nothing but desert en route. The hotel and especially the staff were excellent throughout our stay. This is on of the most beautiful hotels i've ever stayed in, great hospitality, quick service at check in and out. For you people coming on holidays, be aware.....This hotel is in the middle of nowhere, so there is nothing else to do other than staying at the hotel and you are forced to use their expensive facilities. This hotel is very peaceful (the nightclub did not trouble us at all; we hardly knew it was there) and not too large - the largely open plan areas mean it's good for children, who can never roam far.
