The hotel is very conveniently located in Hamdan Street right in the middle of Abu Dhabi city which is about the main good point about it. Hotel is dark dingy and run down, overcharges for pretty much everything from Internet access at over 3dhm per minute $1 US or £0.60p even the day rate at 90Dhm is a joke, to the breakfast at 80dhm per person and the hotel transport. Having stayed in numerous business hotels around the world this one has to be the most depressing. It's dark, dingy, smokey and ridiculously overpriced. I payed over £200 per night to stay in what was no better than a travelodge. The only saving grace was that the rooms were actually quite clean and the staff were ok. Advice for travellers... more

I've stayed at Novotels around the world and this is very different - it has the tiniest rooms and rather old fashioned decor. I'm not sure if Novotel head office know that this hotel is using the Novotel name... Service was fine, location ok. more
