I've been in the Art House in 2010. Staff are amazing and helpful. The rooms are named at a syrian artist and they are gorgeous. The ambiance is inspiring . I promess myself to be back one day! Inchallah! If you like art and Syrian culture the Art House is the perfect Place to stay.

The room we had was spacious, with high ceilings and exposed beams, with a beautiful four poster bed and old wooden furniture. The staff is very friendly and... More

From the moment we arrived it was intimate and exquisite service in a Damascene Bawa style mansion. From roof-top city-lights dinners to breakfast and designer perfect personal sauna, pool and spa. On the face of it, this remote boutique hotel nestled in an old converted mill, a mere 10 to 15 minute drive away from the center of Damascus, is a wonderful place to stay in. The Syrian capital is a polluted and noisy place, particularly outside the famed Old City, and this is the only small hotel in town where... More
