I stayed at Dar Al Yasmin for seven days in July 2009 and two weeks in August 2010. It's an incredible hotel, located in the center of Bab Touma in Damascus's Old City. We had been recommended to stay here by a Dutch colleague and it didn't disappoint. My only wish is that the room were larger and that it had heating. We changed our hoel in order to be closer to the Old City.The hotel seems very comfortable at first sight but there are many problems with mantenance. Hotel arranged for taxi at airport to take us into hotel - in an old Damascus home that has been beautifully restored. Spotlessly clean hotel with large very comfortable single beds in our rooms. i stayed in dar al yasmin for 3 nights , it was a magical experience , the rate was very acceptable & öwer than other simillar hotel in damascus the location is very good , the rooms & furniture was oriental magic the stuff was very friendly & the breakfast is very rich the area is very safe i recomand...
