I stayed around 10 days in this hotel during my business trip to Syria. It is very nice and clean with very good management in the heart of Damascus. I stayed in a small room but very cozy and clean. Breakfast is fantastic and very tempting. You can reach to the busy and nice Damascus night within minuts.

Stayed here for 3 nights whilst in Syria last year - what a great hotel! Firstly the staff are excellent and very friendly, always willing to help. Secondly: The room! superbly appointed with a lovely big comfortable bed, a great TV and plenty of space for luggage etc. The bathroom was also great, with a jacuzzi bath and personal steamer... My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The staff were very friendly. The hotel is very clean. The location is great since it's in the middle of the city and it's in a safe part. It's a 4 star hotel but I would honestly rate it as 5 considering that I've stayed at another 5 start... More

The hotel's location is superb - on hamra street its very close to Souk Al Hamidiya and all the amazing cultural niches in Damascus. Service of hotel is really good - only annoying this is that they dont have king beds - apparently they push the double beds together to make them a single bed.

The hotel expereince was unfortuate in the sense that it ruined what would otherwise would have been a joyful and enjoyable trip to Damascus. We stayed int he hotel for four nights and only had hot water on one occassion! The rest of the time we had to shower in cold water! The staff were unhelpful and not in any... More

If you want a hotel where nothing works then choose the Blue Tower. No hot water for three days, bare wires in the shower area, blinds inoperatiive, there were three couples in our party,we all changed rooms because of problems only to inherit new ones. Management told us repeadidly that hot water would be available in one hour...out right lies - finally... More

The hotel location is good and that is about it. The rooms are very old and shabby. Absolutely no maintenance to the furniture and the bed sheets were dirty with many holes in them. Our room's AC was not working and the AC tech spent more than 4 hours trying to fix it with no joy. When asked manager for... More

We had visited Damascus coming from Jordan and were originally booked to stay in another hotel - the crown plaza or something or other which was filthy, disgustng... yuk! So we made a very last minute transfer to The Blue Tower... aaah :) much better! The place had only just opened and they were still getting the hang of their... More
