Four Seasons is absolutely top of class when it comes to service and facilities. On top of this, it is close to the Old City, mosques and shopping as well as close to small shops and groceries just up street.

This is not meant to be the standard review of a tourist. This is just a note to thank the fantastic work of all employees of the Four Seasons in Damascus. Even if the situation in the country is unstable and the day to day life is becoming harder and harder, the 4S staff is keeping their standards very high... More

Stayed here two years ago and found it to be over-priced and nothing special. Yes, the rooms were large and decadent and had Occitance toiletries -- but the true gem in Damascus is the Talisman Hotel. The location of the Four Seasons is nothing special as well -- check out the Talisman and the Old City. The Four Seasons is... More

Stayed here for 2 weeks. Too overpriced! The service is average, the receptionist is not always there, its so hard to get a reservation in the XO lounge or the restaurant and the prices are crazy! When you need room service you don't always get what you want and it wont be fast at all. The hotel itself stands out... More

I usually go for boutique hotels ... i kind of hate chain hotels but i must admit that this hotel exceeded my expectations in terms of comfort, cleanliness, staff, hospitality and food ... the room is lovely and plain comfy ... the windows are sound proof so even though the streets are crazy noisy (we had a balcony) i slept... We spend three wonderful days here on our honeymoon. The staff made such a great effort and we really felt great and special. Champagne for breakfast with congratulations from the manager of food and bevages, Cake and champagne in the room as a surprise, flowers on the bed and other fine details made this a perfect stay. Damascus is a... More

...for sure. Stayed there in September 2010 for five nights. Location is very good, rooms are nice. Food is absolutely great, especially in the Syrian restaurant. They do have a good wine selection and do know how to make good cocktails. Staff is what really makes the difference, they were all great, true proof of Middle Eastern hospitality. It was... More

Stayed here one night in December but have eaten here many times over past few years. I got a very good rate on the room, which is not surprising given the current circumstances, however meals etc are very expensive, set at top international rates in a country where such rates are approaching extortionate. Although the food and service are very... More

I have visited this property four times in 2011 and each time, given the challenges facing the staff, everyone, and I mean everyone, works tirelessly to be of assistance; to anticipate and be kind. From the moment you arrive at the airport in Damascus, where a representative awaits to when you arrive at the hotel and the staff shares a... More
