I stayed two nights in Le Meridien Damascus with my wife in December 2005, and found it quite acceptable. The hotel is not special at all, but had no problem. The room, including the bathroom, was very clean and pleasant. We reserved a basic standard room through internet only because it was cheapest, but still the room was quite good.... more
