Only stayed 1 night but got a good deal and the hotel is well situated in Doha. Friendly staff, clean and tidy and room service was a good selection. Overall no complaints more

The good? Well, I found the staff courteous and helpful for the most part. There is a nice Lebanese restaurant on the top floor and there is a buffet in the main restaurant. The Lebanese restaurant provided a nice lunch but it wasn't a bargain. However, the quality of the food and service was good. The buffet dinner was around... more

IMHO this hotel deserves to go bust, and quickly. Yes, it's dry, so no bar, and as a result all humans leave to go to the Sheraton or Ramada to eat and drink, leaving a sombre, spooky, morgue like atmosphere everywhere. There's worse. A taxi booking costs R4, (about $1.5) extra on the meter, but the staff didn't know that... more

thankfully it was weekend special price. All this talk of mini-bar and deposits when checking and the entire hotel is 'dry', no alcohol served anywhere. Saw they had a pool, did not figure it was indoor, paid for club room and course no drinks and nothing but coffee until 5PM. Of course I will leave before five to go eat... more

I thought this hotel was excellent, and I've been to hundreds of them in around 65 countries. I also wrote luxury hotel reviews as a journalist at one time, so I have a critical eye. (I'm not sure what happened with the other guests giving bad reviews here - perhaps the hotel has seriously pulled its socks up in the... more

Went there on business and stayed in Millennium since 4 seasons, sheraton and the ritz were fully booked. Didn't know what to expect. Good first impression as nice lobby, upgraded to the executive floor and nice room. However the compliments stop there. The receptionist advises to have breakfast on the executive floor. Went there to realize that the eggs were... more

Wow. This hotel is shocking. The 5th star is either stuck on with sticky tape or was paid for with a brown bag of money. I found this hotel almost impossible to find. I wish it had been harder. I shall summarise: CHECK IN. No bar. No introduction. Not told anything about room or facilities. Not greeted by staff. Phone... more

It is on the low end of a 5 star hotel. I rate it average based on my personal expectations. Compared to Motel 8, its excellent. The staff are very polite and helpful. The interior design is contemporary and beds are comfortable. Rooms have 26" flat panels, a little on the small side and only have a few english channels... more
