The Sharq Village and Spa is a nice hotel but like a lot of things in Qatar, isn't really worth the money. The beach and buildings are nice but the location isn't really optimal as you need to drive through a lot of traffic to get anywhere worth going to. The staff are friendly and the food okay but in... The hotel caters for all tourists but there is a definite bias towards catering for wealthy Middle eastern visitors. Prices are "step" to say the least , a coke by the pool costing 40QAR (£7.50) and NO alcohol served at the pool bar. . This might be local regs but by contrast the Hilton pool bar does serve alcohol. Rooms... More

This is an amazing place! Beautiful in every way. Ultra helpful and friendly staff, stylish, clean, restful - pure heaven! The pools and beach are superb, restaurants and bars to suit all tastes, spa is an essential visit. The location like most in Doha requires a car or taxis

I didn't stay, but I wish I had. I came for a look-see and was not disappointed. It is near the airport and has a great location with a view of West Bay Doha in the distance. It has its own private beach. If you are up for a bit of a walk, you can reach the end of the... More

This place is so awesome...rugged but soft, a wonderful staff and just a pleasant, clean, luxurious environment all around. The hotel itself is looking is out of this world. The location is perfect very close to the airport. I must go again!

We were not drawn to this hotel initially as from the outside it seemed a very "cold" place, not welcoming. Well, we couldn't be further from the truth. Thankfully we decided to give this hotel a try. We stayed for a few days for Valentines weekend. We were overwhelmed with the hospitality and the true Arabian feel of the place.... More

This was a great experience. I had my birthday while staying in Sharq and that day was superb. My whole stay was excellent also because the staff was taking care and nearly all knew me by name which I think is very good and I felt very special. My last day in the restaurant Al Dana is one never to... More
