The hotel has 2 wings - i stayed in both, the old and and new wing. In the old wing the rooms are a bit worn, especially the carpet. Otherwise they are fine. The newer rooms in the other wing are a bit bigger and definitely smell and look fresher. The breakfast is a bit on the expensive site with... more

I spent 21 days at this hotel before moving in Doha. My room was not very big. There was a huge floor to ceiling window, which couldn't be open at all. The TV was not flat but included lots of international tv channels. The bathroom included a bath and was of a good size. The hotel is quite big and... more

I stayed at this hotel for one night and was very impressed with the hotel and service. I think I must have got a room in the new wing because i didn't recognise it from previous comments. The bathroom is gorgeous with a wonderful shower. There is free internet in the rooms, and coffee and herbal teas are provided. The... more

Excellent friendly service, spacious rooms, fabulous choice of high quality restaurants - I especially liked Pier 12 which serves fresh fish & seafood, really the place to be as it is advertized; In comparison to other hotels in Doha the Ramada Plaza offers great value for money and unpretentious very good service. A great plus is the free internet service.... more

its not a bad place to stay - there are of course better hotels in Doha, but they are more expensive. They have just built a new wing which looks really good. The rooms in the old wing are a bit tired - carpets worn etc... but it is clean and comfortable enough. Lots of restaurants - the steakhouse is... more

Stayed here three times over the past year basically due to its location. Doha has a crazy rush hour in the morning and in the evening so you are better off staying at the closest hotel to your location of interest. The old building is worn out and smells humid. Rooms are off decent size and are relatively clean compared... more

Stayed here for two nights while on a business trip to the Arabian peninsula. Lived in Doha for four years during the 90's, this hotel was here even then, with a good reputation, which it still has. Good for business people on a budget. Free wireless internet, good performance. Free shuttle bus from and to airport, the hotel maintains a... more

We stayed here for 2 nights and I was pleasantly surprised, it was nice and modern in the foyer, the reception staff were quick and friendly, we asked for a late check-out of 3pm and it wasn’t a problem also no charge. The room was big, a little tired looking but passable, there was plenty of free bottled water, and... more
