I am so glad that we spent our only night in Doha at this GREAT hotel! We wanted an authentic experience and we got it. The staff, decor, food, customs and extraordinary customer service was second to none. They even gave us a guide to explore the Souk at night so that we wouldn't get lost because they had run... wonderfully decorated rooms, a very warm welcome in the hotel, cordiality at the highest stage - a perfect stay in the old part of Doha Also the butler service is great. You can feel, that the employees are really dedicated to their job.

We were delivered to this hotel after our taxi driver from the airport was informed that our original hotel, the Al Najada, was closed. After a very long flight from Singapore, we were decidedly not happy to be re-routed to some unknown hotel property. But the Al Mirqab is a part of this group of 9 boutique souq hotels (of... More

We were booked into this hotel after we discovered that the hotel we reserved was actually closed (see review of Al Najada). But as it was part of this group of 9 boutique souq hotels we were soon relocated (and upgraded) to this sister hotel. The reception staff were very kind and welcoming, and hail from every corner of the... More

After reading quite a few of the other TA reviews we were a little apprehensive in our selection BUTTTT we just loved the whole experience. Al Mirqab has the best location to be able to walk from our hotel straight into the Souk. Room was fabulous, great comfy bed with beautiful linen, helpful and friendly staff. Great cafe and restaurant... More

I stayed 4 nights for the Eid Holiday the one positive thing about this hotel is the locaation step from the old souq. If I have sked for a room away fron the elevator and the rooms given to us wesr infront of the elvator. The room A/C is not perfect specially in hot weather. The hotel should be closed... More

Although it looks like too old outside but you will find a luxurious hotel inside with perfect services and furniture. Being in Souq Waqif, one can get the feeling of the Souq and taste various foods and listen to music bands and singers from different countries.

Lovely hotel. Lovely location. Best staff quality. Marketed as a 5 star hotel but would personally rate it at 4 stars as it is missing a bit of finnesse and attention to detail... Big rooms but a bit badly designed. Facilities lovely but a bit outdated. TV channels are limited and a strange choice. Love the coffee and tea facilities... More

This isn't really a boutique hotel but it is well placed next to the lovely souq. But there is building just next door, all night, so a good nights sleep is not assured. A small thing, they didn't give the wifi token, which they should do automatically.
