I stayed here during a long layover arranged by Qatar Airways (which I was amazing by how great they are). The hotel was nice, the room was comfortable, and the staff was very kind. They gave me a wake up call so I wouldnt miss my flight. The only thing weird was that they had your passport in the reception... More

I had an involuntary stay at the Safir Hotel in Doha due to missing my Qatar airways connecting flight. I admit my mood of discovering my trip would be 24h longer than planned might have affected my view on both Doha and this Hotel, but this was not a luxury hotel as promised. The staff at reception and concierge were... More

There are some great things about the hotel- the staff is very professional and helpful, common areas and rooms are kept really clean, the beds are relaxing, and response to requests is pretty swift. Where I struggled was connectivity- the hotel offered free wifi, but the connection kept dropping off intermittently. It's probably not a big issue for most, but... More

It was the last day of our trip to Asia via Qatar and Qatar Airways booked this hotel for us to overnight, since our connecting flight would depart next morning to USA. I cannot say it is a bad hotel, but, I wouldnt stay there again. Maybe, because we were coming from marvellous 5 stars hotels all the way thru... More

Imagine you are already checked in with your luggage to your flight out of Doha at 08.10. So you ask for a wake up call at 06.30 to catch your shuttle at 06.45, ample time! But the front desk suggests 04:30 (!), to which you answer absolutely NO. And then, in spite of your instructions, the same staff rings to... More

Stayed here for 5 nights as a part of a business trip. Well kept rooms, good Wifi and a huge TV. Staff were really nice and friendly and they even supplied unlimited bottles of complimentary water which some hotels doesn't. Breakfast spread was also pretty good, but got tired of it towards the end, since they never changed even a... More

Stayed at the hotel because Qatar Airways out me up here. Hotel is clean. Rooms are comfy enough. TV was easy to operate and had a nice selection. Minibar with nothing in it, at least there were two Bottles of water and a coffee/tea service. Check-in was VERY inefficient with three people trying to process your check-in (bellhop, receptionist, and... More

This hotel was provided by Qatar Airways for our stopover in Doha. Hotel is between the new airport and downtown, its sort of in a business area so not much to do around. The suite we were provided was awesome, probably the biggest suite we ever had, accomodated two adults and two children comfortably. The hotel has a decent restaurant... More

I really enjoyed my stay at Safir. Although it was for only two days, Safir offers everything to make you stay nice. It is located in old town, and there are many interesting placed around it. Staff was very good and attentive, food delicious, room was big, bed comfortable. Pool area was great. I can recommend this hotel.
