I went there during project Qatar fair, the price was reasonable compared to the other hotels but surly high price, the rooms of the hotel are big but I was annoyed cause it is not covered by carpet neither the corridor area so I can literally hear people walking all over the place. The rooms are nice and clean but... More

I was in Doha on the 25th of March 2012 to attend a conference for 5 days. I lodged in this hotel. One thing of note is that they responded promptly to my calls from my home country without any hitch. We were picked up from the airport and the check in was very smooth. The staff were very friendly... More

Staying here for two weeks during business trip. Rooms were clean, bathroom was in very good condition, king size bed was very well. The regular breakfast is sufficient, but you are able to expand it by low additional costs. Think the hotel is a little bit to noisy in cause of many building sites around (hopefully it will be better... More

The hotel's first impression is usually from the look of it's lobby. George II's lobby is small and quaint, with old furniture... humble, I suppose would be the best word to describe it. But when I opened the doors to my room, I was pleasantly surprised. The furniture was new and more modern. It was more like a 1-bedroom apartment... More

Perfect for Business Trips, rooms extremely comfy and clean. The hotel is calm, unlike other hotels and close to everything you desire. I would stay there again and again.

We stayed at this hotel for only 2 nights while visiting our daughter in Doha. It was clean, spacious and friendly. The staff were helpful and courteous. Breakfast was basic, but generous (in room service included in our stay). We had a small apartment style room with living/kitchen and a generous bedroom. Our son travelled with us and a bed... More

Seems to work a little different than other hotels. No credit card guarantee required and AMEX not accepted. More like a residential hotel with huge rooms and kitchen as well. Functional but no service. Room service limited to the absolute standard. I would come again though.

Great 'deluxe' hotel I stayed in for eight nights on business last month. Superb rooms (suites) with kitchen, living room, bathroom (shower) and separate bedroom, etc. Free broadWiFi at one meg. Great, helpful staff. Unremarkable breakfast - but delivered to room and always on time. But... two construction sites opposite and behind the hotel going 24/7 makes a hell of... More

Never seen better service-at reception, housekeeping and restaurant. Eating places (Hardees, MacDonalds, Applebee, Burger King) are closeby so no worries if you do not have your own transportation.
