The location is very good. Close to amenities, as well as the famous Pigeon Rocks (about 15 - 20 minutes walk). The rooms appear average, but you feel very comfortable after a short stay. We stayed in a twin room, which is one of the more basic rooms, but you still get a full-sized fridge and cooking facilties thrown in!... more

The location is superb, the staff friendly, the rooms adequate, breakfast sufficient. As a value getaway spot, the Casa d'Or is a good selection. It's too bad that the internal noise is so prevalent. It does get quiet at night, though, and if you're not terribly sensitive to sounds, you should be all right. more
