Well unlike what some viewers wrote about the hotel i had a pleasent stay. The location of the hotel is perfect. The room was very comfy and well cleaned. The staff were kind and helpful. The service was good and i even saw some renovations in different areas in the hotel. In conclusion i had a lovely stay at grand... More

The room was dirty, service was bad, the Algerian receptionist was friendly, others were very rude. Dirty rooms, smelly corridors, rusty bathroom. No value for money. Though it is cheaper than other hotels in the same area, you could pay about 20% more and get 1000% better experience. no Internet service in the rooms (they say it is free wifi... More

I booked this hotel based on it's rating and price on Booking.com - plus the pictures of the rooms and the convenient location. The price was good as well. Here's a very short review: Pros: - Location. Situated in Hamra St. - The rooms are spacious. - Comfy beds. Cons: - Room service is REALLY poor. Rooms are not cleaned... More

Honestly this is the worst hotel I have ever been at. No Internet no service dirty towels terrible lighting unlike what you see in the pictures and the bathroom is like a Mexican prison cell toilet space. Breakfast is terrible as well. I can't believe that they rent out rooms. I would not stay there for 10 dollars a night... More

The modest price for this hotel is still way too pricey for the poor value you get. Used to be a Grand Hotel maybe in the 70s, at the moment it can perhaps be a 1 or 2 stars hotel. The owner of the hotel for some reasons also used to disconnect the wifi during the day and at night... More

Moldy smell shocks as soon as we step out of the lift on the 7th floor. As soon as we entered our room we saw ripped wallpaper, stained ceiling, curtains and floor, disgusting bathroom, dirt, the toilet flash didn't work and the toilet cover broken and placed apart, spoiled lamp, spoiled everything, dangerous electricity - unprotected electricity wires in the... Hid in my room while thunder and rain crashed down outside. Problem: my window wall had water streaming in from the outside. Bigger Problem: this caused a power surge that fried my computer's hard drive. Bad wiring, bad weather sealing and bad weather. In hindsight, I shouldn't have had my laptop plugged in...but I also should have found a better... More

No internet, no service, not quite, AC is not good. I dont recommend any one to stay here , also you have to pay to park your car. You have to call room service 2 to 3 times to come to you and they dont clean your room unless you tell them.

Í have traveled over 30 countries from East to the West. This is the worst hotel by far. I was there Beirut for a friends wedding. Since this was a 4 star I chose the stay in this hotel on the lively hamra street. I had booked for 4 nights in all but cudnt stay through. The AC wasn't working,... More
