Stay often here and like it. The Crew is friendly, the rooms are large and not noisy, breakfast is fine and the Prices are ok...direct near the shops on hamrastreet, not fare from ocean and you can walk to lot of nice places, very safe and good

Beirut hotels are expensive and this is one of the slightly better less expensive options. It bills itself as a 4* hotel, and it obviously once was, but I would class it as a reasonable 3*. This may be because I was staying in a standard room, rather than a deluxe, and I know those rooms are indeed of a... More

I visited in june 2015 so my review may be out of date slightly. The location is very good 5 mins walk away from hamra street. Also close to the university of beirut around 10mins walk. Room was ok and breakfast was ok same everyday no change. However when asking about day trips to jeitta and beit eddine etc. The... More

The room needed a refurbishment, not enough electrical sockets, mattress was worn and dipping on one side where they didn't bother to turn it around and guests had sat in one spot to long making the mattress collapse on one side. thus not being able to have a good night sleep. Water tankers filling tanks to adjacent buildings late at... More

My friend and I travelled to Beirut 28Dec.2015 to 01Jan 2016. We booked and pre-paid the hotel from back home. The hotel's location was PERFECT. It's located on the second street parallel to Al Hamra Street... only 2 minutes walk and also to a supermarket. Our room was rather small for a twin but it was clean. The bathroom seems... More

This is a great budget hotel - it cost only £40 per night and is in the centre of Hamra, just a block away from Rue Hamra, which is an ideal location. The hotel has a rich history, as it was where many war correspondents stayed during the Civil War. Graham Greene also stayed here when he was in Beirut!... More

Acceptable quality as cleaning but not good specially breakfast is very basic .. Very Good location in hamra area . where all the pubs and all attraction like rouche and zaitona bay are not so far .. there is local restaurant called barbar near that place 3 min walk trip and food is good and cheap

Rooms need redecoration, lobby a bit better, old but with more style, breakfast not so great, limited with only one kind of coffee. Convenient location. Should charge less. There is a nice pub in the ground floor, wifi works good. Helpful staff. I would stay again but as I said, I believe should charge less.

We were very happy with our stay - as a family of 2 adults & 2 children, we were given 2 bedrooms, each with private bathroom, and a sitting room with TV and fridge. Decent breakfast selection and wifi in the rooms. The kids enjoyed the small pool on the roof - good to cool down as it is still... More
