History has been made here, Le Bristol is more than an hotel, it is an experience and still has political overtones. Rooftop pool from which to peer down through Ras Beirut, past the checkpoints, to the crowded skies as all the new builds go up. Love Beirut, it takes your heart. More

Nice and classy hotel with a feel of the 1960 something. Good food and the breakfast is very nice. Rooms are pretty large and very clean. Due to construction at the time of my stay it was a bit noisy but let that be. Worse if you get a room facing the front or side street as traffic noise easily... More

As a married couple, we stayed one night at this hotel in March 2012. Their web site's book page says 105$ per night for double but they charged us 127$. So, don't trust the prices of their web site you might be disappointed afterwards. Hotel is safe and clean. But bathtub of our room was broken, there are a little... More

This hotel is not 5 star! You enter the hotel in to a very smoky lobby which I learned is par for the course in Lebanon but still not a nice entrance for non-smokers. The room was average but very noisy due to the road and building site outside. Tired decor and mouldy grouting in the bathroom. On our first... More

Joined by a large group of friends, we descended upon Le Bristol for a Long weekend in Beirut. The Hotel is a classic reminder of an era with more style then our own. The decor is superb.. somewhat dilapidated, but that adds to the charm and atmosphere. Friendly Staff, Comfy Beds, Impeccable room service staff and superb location. This place... More

Booked this hotel for a real bargain price online. The location is fantastic, just next to Hamra st with many handy juicebars and restaurants nearby. The hotel is in a sidestreet so the rooms were not too noisy at night. The lobby and communal areas are very grand and extravagant. I didnt book breakfast with my room so cannot comment... More

It seems that Le Bristol gets worse and worse as time passes by. However this time I vowed to myself not to book there ever again. 1) They tried to cheat my mother with the room. We payed for a junior suit however they gave me a SMALL room and told me RIGHT TO HER FACE it was a junior... More

Stayed 6 nights, rooms are ok although a bit noisy. Ordered twice room service and it was impossible to get someone answering the phone. The poor guy on duty was litterally alone serving the whole hotel, unacceptable lack of personnel. Pros: good breakfast and free wifi at the lobby. Will not stay there again, when paying 200$/night I would definitely... More

We were a group of 16 people who stayed for two nights here. Excellent, clean and spacious rooms, friendly staff -- all in all an extremely pleasant experience. Location in Hamra is good. Highly recommended. More
