The hotel was very well kept. Clean. Very comfortable room. There was a fruit basket when I arrived. I would definitely stay again. The bathroom was like a nice hotel in the States (yea!). Everyone was kind and helpful. Room service was timely and delicious. No complaints.

Staff treat you as if they are doing you a favor. The rooms need to be renovated. The Hotel has a lousy gym and very small pool. The hotel experience for my husband and I was not at all a memorable one and indeed disappointing. The price value for money is surely not there. When a Hotel claims to be... More

This announced to be five stars hotel, seems to live on its historical fame, whereby decades ago it used to the hotel used by the Government for all foreign delegations coming to Beirut. Where do i start, 1- Horrible, unfriendly staff, at check in , you feel they are uneducated, untrained, some cheap motel staff. 2- Horrible, old (not in a nice way) furniture and tiny rooms 3- They have signs in the rooms telling you you are not allowed to bring food and they make a big deal if they see holding... Hotel room was wonderful. Fully equipped with all amenities. Breakfast was not lavish, limited options. Staff helpful and courteous. Location wonderful near Hamra st. But due to ongoing repairs lot of noises during the day. Otherwise very nice hotel.
