Built on the top of Beyt Meri hill, overlooking Beirut and the Mediterranean Sea, the Hotel Al Bustan has been a city landmark since opening in 1967. A favourite among discerning travellers, this luxury property combines breathtaking views, and is a quiet location away from the bustle of the city. The hotel's rooms and suites are surrounded by beautiful landscaped... More

Beautiful view. Outstanding staff. Delicious food. Smell of pinetress breath taking. Very healthy location. Relax relax relax. There is no hotel in Lebanon like Albustan. The view takes your breath away being on one of the most strategic location in Lebanon. Staff very warm, helpful and hospitable. Best Sunday buffett ever. Clean sheets, clean rooms, honest housekeeping.

The views are impeccable from any corner of the Hotel. Best views, however, are overlooking Beirut and the sea from 600 meters above sea level. Food is delicious both at La Glycine and the Italian restaurant Il Giardino coupled with prompt and professional service. Climate wise the ideal time to visit is mid March to mid October. Notwithstanding, for classical... More

1 simple advice: Stay away A cup of coffee there would cost you as much as a lunch at a decent restaurant in the area The Mosquitoes would either eat you alive or carry you The plumbing is so old that brown water comes out for a minute before you can wash your hands. Disclaimer - we only went here for a wedding, so no comments on the rooms. The gardens are beautiful, real Lebanese-style. The views are even more impressive, though, looking down over Beirut and the Mediterranean. You can feel the air is slightly colder up here, and the ride itself up the little mountain villages is certainly worth it.

Al bustan hotel simply ruined my wife birthday. We reserved to stay on a Saturday night. The reservation turned to be on bed basis only so I didn't mind to pay for breakfast getting there. The only good thing about it, is its location overlooking beirut city. Other than it's horrible, oldddd staff with very old furniture, when we arrived... More

I was there for 2 nights in August 2013, during which i stayed less than 12 hours at the hotel; the night before traveling, i noticed several items missing from the room. I checked out and reported the incident to the salesperson I was in contact with, and sent a reminder about the issue in December. 5 months later, I... More

What a gem this hotel is... definitely like stepping back in time - they still use actual brass room keys! The views of Beirut, the Mediterranean and the Broumana mountains are wonderful. I hear the hotel has been recently renovated; but it still reminds me of a colonial bungalow... all in all charming, with a old hotel feel!

This well known Beirut landmark is up in the mountains over Beirut, cooler air in summer is very welcome. It takes about 30 + minutes to drive up from town, 45 minutes from the airport. All rooms have an amazing view; the restaurant is Italian, featuring excellent pastas and pizzas. Sunday lunch is a culinary delight, featuring the finest Lebanese... More

If u happen to be in Lebanon during the months of feb/march, don't let the cold weather fool you into thinking there's not much to do!! Because it's in this time of the year that "al bustan festival" (very interesting art & music festival) is held. Since my husband & I were attending the "tango argentino" show in the hotel's...
