This hotel was spectacular. Everything was perfect - I would give 6 stars if I could. This is the experience I will judge all other hotel visits by from now on. Every request was handled competently, quickly, and professionally. The room was clean and everything was new. One thing that exemplifies how great they were: I needed my suit and... More

Stayed in an executive suite for a week. The sound system (I-POD docking station cited on the website didn't exist) didn't work from day one. On day three of their continually trying to get it functioning they broke the TV/cable. Despite requesting daily that they repair both they only managed to get them functioning on the last and 6th day... More

I stayed overnight at this hotel in May 2014 on a business trip. The location was very central and perfect for walking around. The room was spacious and very clean and tidy. The bathroom as a very good size with separate shower and bath. Hotel staff was very polite and accommodating. Would recommend.

I just went there for dinner and later some drinks in 360 degree bar. The location of the hotel is very promising as it stood just next to the khus and the port. The rooms are beautiful, with original paintings mostly from the Middle East. My room had a wraparound terrace where I spent a lot of time in the gorgeous weather at the beginning of June. Nothing was lacking in the attention given by hotel personnel. The restaurant on the roof was pretty with plants and flowers but didn't really have much... More

This is an excellent place to stay - on business in my case. Service is particularly good - including important touches such as remembering guest names, in the restaurants too, and bringing extra fruit to the room. The cafe is excellent, if limited in its menu choices of Lebanese food. Breakfast is good too, in the 6th floor restaurant with... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Le Gray, one of the finest five-star hotels in Beirut, is made up of 87 contemporary rooms and suites spread out over four floors. Many of the rooms can be interconnected for those travelling together. The architecture by Australian Kevin Dash ensures all rooms and suites are soaked in Mediterranean sun, while the central floor-to-ceiling, glass-topped atrium means the building is filled with light from the inside out. The contemporary, clutter-free interior design is by Mary Fox Linton in close collaboration with creator, Gordon Campbell Gray. The palette includes pastel shades of blue, sage green or lilac, with dark grey tile and mosaic bathrooms. ... more   less
