Stayed two nights at this hotel and have mixed feelings. Really liked the staff, room was clean and we had an amazing balcony onto Gouraud st. Location is also fantastic, walking distance to all the excellent offerings in gemmayze and mar mikhael. On the downside, it feels like a hostel - can hear your neighbors perfectly through thin walls, have... More

Thanks for a great stay at this friendly and well situated hotel. Many good restaurant and other sites of interest within walking distance. I will definitely stay at this hotel again, next time I visit Beirut. Claes Herrlander, Stockholm, Sweden.

I recommend this hotel for everyone visiting beirut. Friendly staff, clean rooms, great location , affordable prices. They make you feel at home ! It is close to many awsome shopping centers (malls) and amazing nightlife,&10 min walking distance to downtown, beirut. Front desk is very helpful and professional, they take their time to advise guests where to go and... More

I stayed here after Saifi ran out of rooms for me. It's a very basic hotel, but very clean. I was really hesitant after reading mixed reviews online, but I'm so glad I stayed. I took a really small room that had working AC and a TV. It was quiet, the bed was comfy, and I had a great night's... More

The Port View is located right on the edge of Gemmayze (Gourard) street with lots of restaurants and bars, but is just far enough away from them that means you will still get a good sleep. It is a pleasant 15-20 minute walk to downtown. My room was simply appointed, but clean and comfortable, the bed was cumpfy and the... More

I stayed at Port View hotel for 10 days on a business trip for an NGO. This hotel is a great price in a great location, and while the other reviews are right to some extent (it's in a trendy part of town so Friday and Saturday night is loud for light sleepers), the hotel has really stepped up its... We stayed at this hotel twice as we were on an Intrepid trip. The hotel is in a good location of Gemmayze. The street is the main bar street and next door there is a lovely pub that does happy hour drinks. Given the exhorbatant prices of Beruit hotels, this hotel is affordable however a bit below average. the hotel... More
