I stayed here after Saifi ran out of rooms for me. It's a very basic hotel, but very clean. I was really hesitant after reading mixed reviews online, but I'm so glad I stayed. I took a really small room that had working AC and a TV. It was quiet, the bed was comfy, and I had a great night's... More

stayed here one nighyt. good value for 59$ with breakfast. breakfast is basic room is clean, electristy and wifi in the rooms 24/7 with tv but no fridge. i reccomend this hotel if u r on business or have something to do. nightlife around is noisy so if u r planing to sleep bring ear plugs with you.

The Port View is located right on the edge of Gemmayze (Gourard) street with lots of restaurants and bars, but is just far enough away from them that means you will still get a good sleep. It is a pleasant 15-20 minute walk to downtown. My room was simply appointed, but clean and comfortable, the bed was cumpfy and the... More

I stayed at Port View hotel for 10 days on a business trip for an NGO. This hotel is a great price in a great location, and while the other reviews are right to some extent (it's in a trendy part of town so Friday and Saturday night is loud for light sleepers), the hotel has really stepped up its... We stayed at this hotel twice as we were on an Intrepid trip. The hotel is in a good location of Gemmayze. The street is the main bar street and next door there is a lovely pub that does happy hour drinks. Given the exhorbatant prices of Beruit hotels, this hotel is affordable however a bit below average. the hotel... More

The hotel is located right off the main pub/bar street so that is definitely a plus point if thats what you are going for. The hotel however has a lot to desire. The wifi works only in the lobby and is very spotty... If more than 4 people are using it you can forget about it. The electricity goes a... More

Affordable place in a decent location about 15-20 min walk to the Mosque of Beirut. Folks working the front desk were friendly and helpful. Rooms are very basic and a bit dingy. It wasn't bad though and given how much you're paying you shouldn't really expect 5-star accommodations. Most of the travelers I met here were younger folks and the... More
