At first, let say the hotel location is great in Hamra's heart. This is the only good point. Otherwise, the hotel has an average price for Beirut (60 USD), rooms are dirty (sheets, floor, bathrooms). The bathroom was the most terrible part with shower just above toilets, not quite convenient. The water had a salty taste and is sticking your... More

This hotel has been the worst I have ever stayed at. My room smelled mouldy and the windows didn't close. Overall it's dirty, smelly and tired. There's no actual shower plate but just a tap where (salty) water comes out of, sharing the same space as the toilet bowl and sink and making a mess every time you shower. But... More

Hotel is OK if your left with no other choice, service received was poor, I wanted to extend my hotel stay, but the rate they gave me was ridiculous, i took a walk around the corner and checked into Mayflower hotel which is like a 4 star hotel for a cheaper rate that what Embassy quoted me for an extra... Embassy was totally ideal for my very quick trip to Beirut. It is really central in Hamra area, Beirut and just one block from Hamra Street which is loaded with shopping, coffee shops, restaurants, people watching and great events. Embassy is also about 2 blocks down from AUB which has a great vibe - and again, lots of great spots... More

I`ve stayed in this lovely hotel from 3rd March, 2014 to 18th March, 2014, nice room & view, clean and the best issue is the lovely employees, Mr. Hussam Safa and Ms. Sameha also Mr. Mustafa, Mr. Jomaa... A friend suggested that I stay in this hotel, said I'd find the staff friendly and welcoming--and that's what I found! Even though I arrived at night, the person at the desk remembered me, remembered my reservation, and even remembered my friend! The four days I stayed here, I was greeted every morning and evening in a warm and friendly... More

I liked this hotel because it was old, it had nice architecture and the elevator was my favorite. The rooms were clean, and the showers had constant hot water with high pressure. The doors and walls were very thick which made the rooms quiet. It is located right off Hamra street, which is the main BLVD for shopping, dining, and... More
