I was truly disappointed with this hotel. The decoration was terrible, basically Ikea furniture designed with absolutely no taste. The paintings, I think I could not have chosen to be worse even if I tried. The breakfast was extremely substandard, I think the a Comfort Inn in the US had better breakfast. Both my friend and I found our two rooms very nice, updated, clean and had a computer. We were both very satisfied and the hotel went out of their way to help us in any way they could. The attached restaurant was very good, also. I would recommend to anyone. more

Room was clean but quite compact, in reasonable condition, but a bit worn. It took a major intervention by the hotel's IT expert to get the (wired) internet functioning, after finally convincing the reception that all the settings on my computer were fine. I really enjoyed my overnight stay at the Swiss Belhotel Plaza. It was very clean, decorated nicely and the staff was very helpful. The restaurant breakfast was very nice with many fresh choices. more

The Swiss Belhotel Plaza in Kuwait City is an "international" Hotel and is great for travelling on a budget. If you are coming to Kuwait City for only this reason or passing through it makes great sense. It's an economy stay, on an economy price tag.
