As it is located on the Gulf Road, it is very near to the sea side, Kuwait towers and the city center as well, rooms are big enough and dark, so you can enjoy your romantic moments and your sleep as well, big lobby and nice pool. The breakfast is international with a lot of varieties.

I stayed here in May, which is heading towards the off season, which may explain why it was so quiet. High points: - breakfast on the 19th floor. Good views and a very extensive choice of food. - good sized rooms with comfortable beds and (mostly) OK internet access. The hotel is starting to show its age. The lobby area... More

1. The hotel location on Google maps is in the wrong place. By 3 km!!! So at midnight in the heart of a deserted city trying to find the place took a Web search... 2. The guy at the door of the hotel knows nothing about hospitality and looks like he has been dragged through a hedge backwards... 3. The... More

I am currently staying at Safir International Hotel in Kuwait. I have been here for 3 days from the 10 in which I am staying but things need to be said now. Service in F&B-non existent. The restaurant is advertised to open for breakfast at 0630 each morning. I have arrived at 0630 for the last 3 days and next... More

The Safir International is a very comfortable hotel with great staff. Situated just of the Gulf Road and close to the Kuwait Towers, with great views of the sea and excellent views of the coast down to the Scientific Centre, some 12 Km away, from the breakfast room on the 19th floor.

This is an older hotel and the exterior of the building is not especially attractive, but it is well maintained and the staff is very helpful and friendly. Stayed on one of the upper executive floors so not sure about other locations, but these rooms are good size, quiet, comfortable and clean - although the decor is dull and dated.... More

Good location (but need car) near Kuwait City and good value (less than half luxury hotel rates - try not to pay more than KWD 40pn incl. taxes). But a bit forlorn and tired. Staff do try their best though and are personally friendly. Bathrooms need updating.

The hotel attendants were so friendly. rooms are quit big, comfortable bids, hotel is in the middle of the sites that you would like to visit either if you are going for business or leisure The only disadvantage is that I had one bag and no body offered to take it to the room!
