We were taken to Safir Airport Hotel when we had to wait in Kuwait for 7 hours for transit flight (8am to 3pm). They took us to the hotel in buses. They provided us buffet breakfast as soon as we reached there and lunch in the afternoon. There were many options of food and drinks and the facility was spacious,... More

They have improved this place over the years but it is simply dirty! As far as the improvements, you know longer have the open sewer smell in your rooms! The staff was nice but the filth just was attrocious. I would never stay here again! To each their own but something to be said about staying in a place that... More

As with the others, had a night courtesy of Kuwait Airways delayed flight. Rooms are OK but basic. They gave us a 2 bed room with only one towel, but sent one more up later. It wasn't the cleanest place I have stayed but one night I can put up with it. The buffet dinner provided was pretty good, considering... More

Over the past 12 years in Asia, I have seen some terrible airport but the Kuwait airport far beat what I have seen until now. Completely messy and disorganized, no one to inform you on what to do upon arrival and visa process so you queue for half an hour at the immigration and when it is finally your turn... More

I was placed in this hotel by Kuwait Airways while awaiting a connecting flight. The room was perfect. The food was good, clean bathroom and good showers. However, the receptionists were extremely rude with the passengers who arrived with me! (all were Sri Lankan maids and some Filipino workers). This kind racism and rudeness is totally unacceptable. There is no... More

Kuwait airways delayed my connecting flight so had to provide an overnight room. It took a while to get herded from transit at the airport to the shuttle bus, but the hotel was fine. Despite previous reviews by others, this was much better than I had expected. The food was sufficient, the bathroom worked, and it was clean and cool.

Already stayed in this hotel twice. First was in 2012 for an overnight after my flight via KU was delayed, hotel is okay-ish, Wi-Fi is okay, food is not bad. Room: a bit dirty, smelly bed sheets and pillows, TV is ok Bathroom: Filthy Second time was Jan 2014, while waiting for connecting flight. Room and bathroom; totally disgusting TV... More

Its a lower class hotel for transit air travelers without a transit visa. Beds are as narrow as in prison, bathroom does not have bathtub, a bit dirty. One guest leaving and immediately filled by another guest ( Probably multiple times a day). They keep you waiting until some guest vacate the room and ask you to vacate early and... More

I was placed in this hotel by Kuwait Airways whilst awaiting a connecting flight next morning. The room I was allocated was adequate for a short one night stay. However, when I got off the transfer bus and walked up to the reception desk the male receptionist (who was doing nothing) blatantly ignored me, no smile, no greeting, nothing. He... More
