Lovely business hotel (rather expensive if you're paying for yourself!). Undergoing a lot of construction at the moment, so make sure you get a room on the left hand side and on the outside of the hotel (if you have a lobby facing room you risk the sound of lift music for the entirety of your stay!) Fab restaurants, the... more

Have stayed here a few times due to convenience of proximity to airport, but I will not be staying here again. First off, the rooms are way too expensive for what you get- The only thing smaller than the rooms was the TV! If I am going to pay up to and over 300 a night I want more than... more

Another short stay here, everything was great from the airport pickup to room service. My first room was one of their newly refurbished rooms. It was modern-chic, very sterile looking, too modern for me. That and the air conditioning wouldn't get the room below about 85 degrees and I made a quick return to check-in to get one of the... more

A very good hotel in the business area of Kuwait City. Rooms are not so big, but really clean with all the hi tech device that you need free Wi Fi included. The rooms are very clean, the staff is friendly and professional. The fish restaurant has a wonderful fish buffet every day. The food in any case is great.... more

I cannot see how previous reviews could have said the food was not good, this is some of the best food in any hotel I have stayed in. We ate in the Japanese, the Lebanese, the Steak house but our favourite was the main buffet room which had everything you could want for breakfast and lunch. I was blown away... more

I was given a room facing a building site. After making complaints and trying 2 alterative rooms, they decided to upgrade me to a suite, facing the atrium. The standard was terrible, it is the standard of motel. Old décor and dirty feeling. I have stayed in bed and breakfast better than this hotel. However the suite is a complete... more

As previous reviewers have noted, conveniently located near the airport. Spectacular fitness center and pool on the property, but no changing room around the pool and the elevator closest to the pool dumps you out at the entrance to a swanky restaurant. Same applies if you wanted to wear work-out togs to the finess center. The only place to change... more

I have stayed at the Crowne numerous times on trips to the Middle East and prefer it to all of the other hotels in Kuwait City. Have tried most of the upscale hotels in town and continue to return to the Crowne. The rooms are nicely apportioned. The meals are very good. They offer free high speed internet in the... more

I stayed 12 nights 27 Nov-9 Dec 2004. The hotel is within 3 or 4 Kms of the Airport but almost 20 Kms from downtown Kuwait City. If you have business in the NEW Ministries Area (as I did), it would be difficult to beat for location. If you are working in Kuwait City, you would save yourself scary driving... more

This was a great hotel- it should be, as it cost apprximately $230.00 a night. The pool was fine, but the restaurants were great. The room was super, and most importantly, the bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel is located close to the airport which is important when trying to get out of Kuwait City as the streets tend to... more
