We stayed at this hotel on two occasions in March 2015 - first for one night then later for four nights. The stay didn't start well as they did not appear to have any record of out booking through the company we were travelling with. It took at least an hour to sort this as their English was not great... More

We were fist given a room on the 6th floor which was terrible. Very old, stains on the carpets the bathroom was all broken and it stank and the room didn't seem to have been cleaned or touched for the last 6 months. We got moved to a room on the 12th floor which was much better. The carpet was... More

Were not all happy with the service. Reception staff were not helpful. We had a booking for a triple bedroom but were given a twin bed room. Then were offered a mattress. Finally when we insisted we had booked and paid for a triple bed room were given one on the third floor. The tv was not working, 2staff tried... More

as a person who is always in traveling, this time I was in Tehran. I choose this hotel from domestic web sites. in comparison with the other mid-class hotels its price's was fair enough and one single room was 50 Euro. it located in the middle of the city. if you travel by plane it would cost nearly 15 Euro... This place is supposed to be a four star hotel, but i would rather rate it three stars. It is a huge place with a lot of rooms and i stayed on an upper level, where i had a good view over Tehran. The room was ok, but in my opinion everything is a little old and run down. Breakfast... More

I have nothing to praise and no complaints. It is not one fancy place but, maybe, the excellent views from our balcony and the good food have compensated the 70’s picture of the room 1427. All inside was functional - without technical issues, clean, hot water all the time, quiet, beds ok and staff well-educated. Now, I have some little... More

We arrived to the hotel one day before of our reservation. We were treated for a woman. We asked if we could made chek in one day before, and she answered contemptly and angry why we arrived one day before. I thought for myself "it's not your problem, have you or don't have you a room also for tonight?" Well,... More

Enghelab Hotel is located in a nice street in Tehran, within walking distance of shops and a couple of bakeries along tree-lined streets. The hotel itself has a comfortable if slightly gloomy reception area, with staff service being quite good, overall. The hotel has a certain dated feel to it. The dining area is similarly cheerless. Breakfast is standard Iranian... More

Built in the late 70's this hotel has had very little done to the rooms since. Dirty carpets, leaking showers, blocked basins & the odd cockroach were what our friends & I experienced during our stay. The staff were quite rude, were reluctant to give change back when paying at the coffee shop & just left my bag in the... More

My recent Peregrine trip had several nights on arrival and departure in this large hotel. Thankfully both times I had upper rooms - 11th and 15th floors - which I found comfortable, particularly roomy, everything worked okay and the views to the north were great. Once the initial cultural shock abated, I found the location okay for venturing out -... More
