The Kowsar attracts mid-range business people as well as travellers. The staff are very friendly, efficient, responsive and have good English language skills which is important for foreign visitors. The included breakfast is pretty good, although the breakfast room is relatively small and occasionally there are methylated spirit odours from the tureen burners. The rooms are very variable and mostly... More

I stayed in this hotel many, many weeks. When I came 2014 I paid 1.800.000 per night and in July 2015 it was nearly 3.000.000. This is too much for this hotel. Fair value is 65 $ maximum for single room. Rooms quite old and with several damages. Breakfast not very special. But what is good? Friendly stuff in the... More

A nice hotel with a lot of features like shops and internet cafe. Facilities are good and seems like suitable for families and business travelers and for conference meetings as well. I don't think this hotel is a romantic place for couples. Besides, hotel is located more or less in the city center so everything is accessible. Staff are very... More

Rooms are big and very clean as are the bathrooms. Wifi is free and works everywhere including the rooms. Heating is a problem as the rooms are over heated and it is apparently not possible to reduce to normal level. Breakfast is the traditional Iranian type. Location is quite good in Central Tehran close to Metro station.

Location is perfect, personel is polite and friendly, room is not very good, cleaning is medium, price is normal, breakfast is good. Hotel need a restoration. Veli asr nsquare is 500 m. There are shopping centers. I advise buying dried fruit/nuts. There are seller near the hotel.
