Web stayed twice in thisnhotelmonce in May we had a room on the 8 th floor who needed badly to be refurbished!!... More

Since we arrived early in the morning, Kuoni has arranged for us to check in at 6am. The room was ok size but really tired looking. The air conditioning was especially noisy even when I wear ear-plugs, I could still hear it. I bought a local sim card nr the lobby but had problem connecting. Luckily they had an IT... More

Spent only three hours there due to very late arrival (06:00 am). The staff is helpful and speaks excellent English. The room and bathroom were small and in need of an upgrade. The A/C was quite weak. The bathroom offered a good selection of toiletries, but hardly any shelf space (one of my pet peeves!). The sink faucet was leaking.... More

This former Inter-Continental has a quite good location in the centre of Tehran, but it is old and run-down. When we visited in mid April, the aircondition was not switched on, so we had to sleep with open window. Whether it was mosquites from the window or bugs in the bed, I don't know, but in the morning my arms... More

This hotel has been categorized as a 5 Star hotel and my review has been made accordingly. As soon as you enter the Laleh, you realize any of its old charm which may have been there many years ago, has now been completely lost. The façade and lobby both mirror an old hotel which has well dilapidated over time. Rooms... More

We found this hotel to be very overpriced. Staff were not helpful or friendly. My husband was told by one staff member that 5,000 rial notes did not exist!!!! The room and bathroom were old and shabby. The reverse cycle air conditioning was set on heat, and we could not turn it down, so the room remained very warm, even... More

Room has improper smell, maybe the carpet smell, food is the same everyday, every breakfast , the same boring bean soap, you can hear others in next rooms, this time i heard a couple making which seems un ethical, the other night, i was disturbed by the voice of TV next room. Taxi service charges you more when they know... More

Built in the early Seventies as one of the Intercontinental Hotel chain, the Laleh still retains much of its orginal features intact. Agree with most reviewers that the furnishings and facilities are tired and in need of modernisation to live up to its claimed 5-star rating. The imposing grand chandelier at the main lobbly has long lost its lustre, while... More

Before I travelled to Tehran, I checked the TripAdvisor for the Travellers reviews and these make me to be bit wary about the Laleh Hotel. I can now confirmed that many of the comments are quite close to my own experience…The Laleh definitely needs a bit of a facelift but more importantly the food service must be improved. Breakfast is... More

I arrived at the Laleh (previously the Intercontinental) Hotel at 05:30 in the morning. Reception and check in was extremely efficient and the whole lobby are was attractive. However that is where it stopped. The rooms are small and in dire need of an upgrade. Dark and really need redecorating. I did notice that there are efforts going on to... More
