I have stayed here for two nights. Hotel is located in central Tehran. Rooms are little small but nicely decorated. Very clean and comfortable. Good staff, very helpful.. specially.. they have given me new packed mobile charger (Sony Ericsson phone) free of charge, when i found that my charger isn't compatible with Iranian sockets. Had good breakfast, variety of items... More

Stayed here in April 2014 after a Peregrine tour. We were very happy compared to the larger government hotels. Clean but tiny room with twin beds. The restaurant breakfast was better than most. Staff directed us to an artists' gallery and cafe in Park-e Honar Mandan, near Baroroushan Street. After all the kebabs and barley soup, this was a really... More

Hotel itself was nice and fits its category, nothing really special except staff. These ladies and one gentleman really made our stay, solved few problems, organized some things and all this right in time, faultless and in a very friendly matter.

I stayed 3 nights at Escan Hotel in Tehran in early July. I have to say the feelings are mixed bag - good facilities (by Iranian standard) and worst ever service ever (even worse than the 2-star hotels that I have stayed in Congo and Somaliland). Here are the pros and cons. Hopefully it provides a comprehensive and unbiased view.... More

Western modern hotels are - understandably - rare to come by in Tehran. Escan is a highly recommended and completely adequate enterprise: impeccably clean rooms (which was our absolute priority), location, absolutely amazing front desk staff, neat restaurant, modern and well kept environment. We stayed there on our first and last nights in Tehran - with some domestic travel in... More

I stayed three nights at the beginning of my two week and then again on the last night before my flight back. I wanted a hotel which had a central location and one that was clean and modern. This hotel was perfect for these reasons and many more. Staff: I was pleasantly surprised. In Iran, as friendly and welcoming as... More

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights late June 2014. Room was a bit small with single bed but had everything needed. A safe deposit box and comfortable bed. Desk was small and no power plug close to the bed. Bathroom is small but well maintained. Internet is very good. Restaurant served good breakfast and fairly good Iranian food.... More

Clean, professional management. Very helpful staff, speaking excellent English. Located near the subway, from which it takes about 20 minutes to reach the Grand Bazaar ( 1 change of train). The rooms are very clean, it is a modern hotel. Good breakfast. Not many restaurants nearby. The hotel is a little bit expensive in my view.

Definitely the best hotel we stayed at during our trip in Iran. You may find the lobby dark and the rooms at the front of the building a bit noisy, but this is a clean hotel, with good breakfast (their made-to-order omelettes are yummy!), immaculate, modern rooms and nice, helpful personnel
