5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 20, 2013 NEW

We have spent 4 nights at the Escan Hotel and it was really a great choice. It is comparable to a 4 star hotel in Europe and the ladies at the reception are really nice and very fluent in English. Great breakfast indeed and impeccable cleaning throughout. I would like to add about this "travel warning" at the top of... More

I booked initially 4 nights online. Answers and confirmations were fast. Once there i wanted to double my stay to 8 nights, no problem. And they charged the same fee as if i had booked it over the internet. They will help u with sights in Teheran and tips on where to go and what to see. And ordering taxi... More

Stayed in Escan twice in a single trip.. I returned because I like it. The building is quite new and is very clean (including the bathroom and toliet, which is not exactly easy to find in Iran...at least not in every city there). Price is relatively expensive compares to other places I have stayed in Iran, in fact, it is... More

Checked in on the basis of an email - warm, welcoming receptionist. In Rm 406 on 4th floor. Clean, ensuite on the small side but adequate. Air-conditioning system only heats, so if the room is warm you may have to open the window (we did). Comfortable bed but the quilt was way too warm. Breakfast generous & varied: cereals, preserved... On my first two nights in Iran (all nights in Tehran) I stayed at the Escan Hotel, and I was very impressed! The hospitality of the staff was remarkable. The receptionists were very pleasant and accommodating, and the second night at the Escan -- which was my birthday -- the General Manager arrived at my door with a large box... More

We found the hotel excellent value for money. Location was really handy to major metro lines and bus routes. The breakfast was comprehensive and delicious especially the date omelettes! Facilities were excellent and the restaurant on site served great food but best of all were friendly and helpful staff.

We spent three nights in this hotel, which was booked by our tour company. Being our first time to Iran we were unsure what to expect, but we were pleaseantly surprised with a modern, very clean, spacious hotel, with everything we needed. I would recommend this hotel to everyone! We since have stayed in 4 other hotels in Iran and... More

On arrival in Iran I spent my first night at the Escan Hotel in Tehran. I was welcomed by a polite, friendly doorman and the pleasant and efficient receptionists had me registered and shown to my room within 15 minutes. My room was a single, which seems to be the most common in Iran, however, the bed was extremely comfortable,... More

We had booked this hotel based on the reviews in tripadvisor. We communicated with them through e-mail and they were prompt and polite and we booked the hotel for 2 nights - one on arrival in Tehran and one on the last night before departure from Iran. The rate looked reasonable - IRR 1.85 million, but the hotel informed me... More

We stayed one night at the start of our travel in Iran and another night before flying out of the country. We were greeted by friendly female receptionists both times, who remembered us when we checked in for the second stay. Other staff we encountered ranged from indifferent to snarly and rude (par for the course in the Iranian 'service"... More
