I stayed in Escan hotel and really enjoyed it. Clean rooms and bathrooms, nice restaurant, very friendly employees at the reception (many thanks for Adineh and Salahi for their help calling bus stations/ airports/ and other). The beds are very comfortable and the sheets clean and soft. TV/wifi/safety box and other services also available. I payed 140$ for the night... More

The room was compact, perfectly acceptable, functional; comparable to France's Campanile hotels. The AC was noisy but you get used to the constant breeze and rumble. The ensuite was cramped and the toilet very low, with an intriguing sideways flush. There was a modern all-glass shower cubicle with plenty of toiletries and towels. The Internet didn't work well but there... More

This hotel has western quality rooms and restaurants. My single room was $104 per night and the quality is similar to a Holiday Inn. The location is very handy for central Tehran and also for the tourist sights of the bazaar, Golestan Palace, old US embassy etc. The restaurant is very good for coffee and cakes and this hotel has... This is my first time in Tehran and wanted to stay in downtown city center at a hotel where wifi works --- and wifi here works! Note though that in Iran, Facebook/Twitter/Youtube are banned so even with wifi I wasn't able to connect to these apps from my smartphone. I had a single room for roughly $105 and found it... More

Escan hotel is one of a few Iranian hotels that really match international standard. The property is decorated in modern style with comfortable bed and amenities. Wifi is stable. Minibar's price is... More

A bit more luxurious than our other stays in Iran. A great place to begin and end our wonderful journey, the Escan Hotel offers professional service and the amenities were great, with the addition of the genuine warmth and welcome offered by all staff. Great breakfasts - especially the omelets and the crisp little bread rolls. The Manager went out... More

Stayed 2 nights and returned at end of trip for 2 nights. Staff were welcoming and very helpful. When a city is so big and busy this was a respite from the noise and traffic of Ferdowsi. Good breakfast and dinner if necessary. Loved it.

If you are planing an independent trip to Iran you will find it very challenging to get reservations online for hotels. Few hotels are speedy at replying to emails, phone calls would be better if people on the other side speak English. I will post the hotels we stayed in on our recent trip and contact info. Escan Hotel was... More

The Escan hotel is a top choise in Tehran with great breakfast buffet and dinner with live music. It is just a few minutes walk from the former US embassy, now known US Den of Espionage and opposite of it the touching Martyrr's Museum. For a delicious lavazza coffee and a look at the interpretation of the severe drescode by young...
