obviously this hotel is only for singles seeking some fun. only the 'room service' is positive and all other services are going worst. used to be happening itseems, but it's getting worn out, rooms and bath room need refurbishment. maybe coz of that crowd was less, breakfast was bad, prices are unreasonably more. night clubs will be boring for expats,... Poor hotel, you can consider is a a bed only, go there if you have no other options, full of night women the bell-boy will give you the night women room numbers once you reach your room. Location is good and near to restaurants and service Late night you'll see a lot of drunk people hanging in the hotel, some... More

that's all it was... I was offered "services" at the beginning of my stay. The Arabic club upstairs was the best part of the hotel, all night shisha and entertainment. The room was not the cleanest, i had a terrible view of the marina and the dead pigeons on a summit. The bathrooms were ok at best, and the air... More

The hotel gives the personal and confidential customers data to random girls to call you in the room immediately after you entered the room to offer their sexual services .......and when you asked why ? They will just ignore you . Plus they charge you an additional 10 BD if your friend comes to visit you .... What a lovely... More

Dark dingy soulless, the room stank, the bathroom floors were dirty and blood spots on the shower wall ughh! My phone rang four times during the night with hookers wanting to give "massage" yea sure....the room is barren, the tv was... More

The personal is very impolite: staff keeps passports until checkout. In the first floor there is a disco that is so loud that you can hear it in the rooms of the 5th floor. At 3 am in the night staff opened the room to check if there are more than the 3 persons that booked inside. Impudent!!! Do not... More

Milestones and new beginnings … Leisure crowd and hip-hoppers … Rooms with a view … Marking a milestone this year is the four-star Gulf Gate Hotel. Its first 365 days have seen better ones and bigger profits, thanks to the hotel’s distinguished business philosophy, remarkable management style, and the staff’s enviable team spirit. J. L. Paul, Gulf Gate’s indefatigable GM,... More

This hotel is tired, the rooms stink of cigarette smoke, the desk staff are appallingly rude, and the nightclub on the first floor sends out a thumping beat that kept me awake to after 2.30am despite being 6 floors above! I only have myself to blame for not heeding the warnings given by others. Cost was 40 BD for one... More
