Spending couple of days here, Hotel offers a large variety of really good services, both for business and leisure. Rooms are relaxing with a superb view on the gulf area. more
I stay here most times I am in Bahrain. Be sure to ask for a room in the newer wing and you should be OK. Some of the beds are very firm and not to my liking but ask and they will relocate you to another room. Excellent Thai and Chinese restaurants on site. more
Gulf Hotel located at the main stream near Juffair in Bahrain halped me have a comfortable stay over the weekend with enough room for leisure and business meetings. The rooms are spacious and with all facilities and have an excellent housekeeping/room service wing. Access to and from airport is just 10 minutes. Within 2 Km radius from the hotel is... more
This hotel is definitely not 5-star. Tastefully decorated but has a smokey atmosphere. The staff are friendly but the service is in dire need of a shake up. Stayed for 3 nights to atteand a conference and there was not a single aspect of our stay that was positive. Check in went well but we were not informed of any... more

We had reserved a two bedroom apartment and by the time we had parked, checked in and been shown to our room we were ready for something to eat. Our first choice was the Italian restaurant. The maitre d' asked us... more
We're Americans living in Saudi and we had a great time at the hotel. It's quite pricey, but at least the service and ammenities are outstanding. We stayed only one night, but we made it to the pool twice and enjoyed the poolside bar. The staff were friendly and the service was great, which is fairly unusual for this part... more
I and four other people I work with stayed at the Gulf Hotel for six nights at the beginning of January 2009. This was my first trip to Bahrain, and I cannot compare the Gulf to others hotels in Manama. While the lobby is fairly impressive, the hallways and rooms are a bit weather-beaten, especially for a supposed five-star hotel.... more
