I stay here most times I am in Bahrain. Be sure to ask for a room in the newer wing and you should be OK. Some of the beds are very firm and not to my liking but ask and they will relocate you to another room. Excellent Thai and Chinese restaurants on site. more

We're Americans living in Saudi and we had a great time at the hotel. It's quite pricey, but at least the service and ammenities are outstanding. I and four other people I work with stayed at the Gulf Hotel for six nights at the beginning of January 2009. This was my first trip to Bahrain, and I cannot compare the Gulf to others hotels in Manama.
