This was our first trip to Bahrain. We stayed at the Best Western in Juffair. The dance lounge was packed with young adults dancing to the roar of the music which could be heard in our room on the 2nd floor like an open ceiling. The management graciously relocated us to the 4th floor and explained to our understanding the... more

I've stayed at several hotels in Bahrain (Crowne, Gulf, etc), and have stayed at the BW Elite a couple of times. I believe that, for the price when comparing other "name brand" hotels in Bahrain, this is the best deal going. Many of the other local hotels have ever escalating prices. A moderate room at the Crowne for example is... more

Stayed 4 nights on business and hotel was completely satisfactory. Took a bit of effort to end up in a room that was ready (!) but it was large and well appointed enough........except for not having any windows!!! Beware rooms 810 - 813 in this respect. Big comfortable bed with soft sheets, and it was well cleaned and serviced every... more

Service: The staff is professional Rooms: Our room was surprisingly big because we reserved the suite. The bathroom was nice. The TV could've been bigger based on the size of the room. The windows had a view of the city. We were in Juffair so most of the view was sandy roads and half finished buildings. WARNING: Choose a room... more

First impression was a "smell" as they were painting the lounge, so this smell of paint was lingering all day. Then the front desk staff could not locate our reservation- we had hotel voucher, and this guy wanted to charge us again. After waiting for ~ 10 min, the reservation details magically appeared, but waiting in a paint smelling lounge... more

Nice, lots of room, we were on the 8th floor so could not hear any of the clubs, but the place was jumping on Friday night. Good gym, and food in the Western was great, but the rap music was not appropriate. Had a good stay, Friendly helpful staff. more

wireless internet is free and works great from the 7th floor. Quit for awhile at one point but worked fine most of the weekend. No tub but nice shower. Nicely decorated rooms. The Wrangler downstairs turns into a disco/rap/smoke-filled den in the evening. Could hear the thump-thump 7 floors up when all was quiet but it wasn't bad. Nice pool,... more

Good size room, lots of space, an okay bathroom - a bit cramped for space. Room was quite smelly - mould or unserviced AC uints. Definitely not a 4-star, may be a 3-star. I was on the 6th floor but could hear the nightclub till well past midnight. Wi-Fi is pathetic, you can only get connection in the lobby, not... more

The room is good and is Ok for a four start hotel. The bath room is a 3 star bathroom. The problem is that you could here the music despite the fact that my root was on the fourth floor. The air conditioning system is a bit noisy as well. The root has a safe box, Microwave, complementery coffee and... more

As per previous listings I was aware of the nightclub. Accordingly I asked for an upper floor room - 7th in fact(6 away from the nightclub). I also thought that arriving on a Saturday(weekday in the Middle East) would be even quieter. None of it made a difference. I was kept awake until 2am until the club closed - you... more
