I usually stay at the Intercontinental but Though I would give the Mariott a try. The first room was 422, very small and the tiny window looks out on a wall a few feet away. My first impression was a glorified cupboard. The bathroom is very small and the shower one of those bath shower combinations that I really hate.... More

Have been here on more than a few times for conferences, and parties. Have never boarded a room overnight. The space seems outdated, and in need for an upgrade. The food has been of above average quality. The staff efficiency was average. This does not feel like your above average Marriott experience, and certainly not even close to the high... More

Stayed for 2 nights in June and they accommodated my every need to the highest standard. I didn't use executive lounge as I didn't have time, but the breakfast buffet downstairs was huge. Attentive staff, nice lobby, comfortable rooms with good wifi.

It has been a long time since I last stayed in this hotel. They have made some significant changes.... With room upgrades and refurbs of restaurants, reception and public areas the most obvious. They put me on the 6th floor and acceded to my request for a quiet room away from the traffic. This floor gave me access to the... More

I stayed in this hotel for more than 200 nights and I am a Marriott platinum member. The service quality seems to be going down. Recently they started charging for the really mediocre quality espresso and cappuccino they used to provide free of charge at the breakfast. You can get the same at other competing brands like intercontinental for free... More

Riyadh is a city with wealth but zero glamour. Marriot was the oasis at the end of a concrete day. Hotel is excellent in every way. Service and staff. Gym and valet. Internet speed was excellent (> 15Mbs). It is the only hotel I will stay at in Riyadh.

Imagine to have AC that's not working in Riyadh!!! And the response of the hotel was "nothing". I've been complaining for a whole day through calls and visited the reception myself before going out and they promised to send someone to fix it and again nothing happened. Meals are expensive and charging for internet!! Don't recommend it.

Wouldn't choose to stay here but the Company says so so here goes : The (tiny) balcony door would not close and the first engineer sent up just pulled it to and closed the curtains.
