This being my fourth trip to Saudi in as many months I've come to expect a level of quality and service that in many ways surpasses U.S. hotel stays. I am a businesswoman who in every aspect of travel in the Kingdom has been treated royally until to my surprise I checked into the Marriott. I have been treated with... more

Stayed here for 4 nights for a conference. The hotel looks a bit old from the outside, but the lobby is nice. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but small-ish and dark - one tall narrow window with no view. Very basic toiletries. Check-in and check-out was a little slow. Room service was mostly efficient. Seemed to be popular hotel... more

I went for a business visit. I stayed for a month's time. The ambience of hotel is excellent. But the rooms are very small and congested and also there is no proper ventilation system. The rooms and room service are quite decent. Its completely closed kind of room. The food is quite amazing especially the inetrcontinetal breakfast. But there is... more

Stayed here for a conference. Rooms are small and dated and because of the small sized windows. Bathrooms are dark and products are basic. Small property. When I told them I was a marriott rewards member I was upgraded to have access to the club lounge on the 5th flr. Club lounge has excellent breakfast, free computers with free internet... more

This hotel is far from worldwide Marriott standard. The rooms are in desperate need of redecoration/renovation. So is the rest of the hotel in general. If all you need is a comfy bed and a nice in-room breakfast, then this hotel is OK. Due to the poor standard, I didn't even want to try out the restaurant... Cannot recommend this... more

I stayed at this hotel in March 2008 and found it very nice. Although it appears tired when you look at it from outside, rooms are clean and renovated. Nice and decorated prayer area and lobby. Early check in: around 11:30 a.m. and late check out: around 4:00 p.m. The only disadvantage I saw is the car parking location. Although... more

This is such a depressing place. While security barricades make one feel somewhat secure, the lobby is as quiet as a morgue, except for a bunch of old men sitting around smoking. I have stayed a many Marriotts around the world, and find this one to be seriously in need of a facelift. The rooms are quiet, and the bed... more

Spent two nights in the Marriott due to a business trip to Riyadh. I was very satisfied with the hotel, and wished I could have spent some more time in the comfortable bed, instead of attending meetings all day (and night) long. To start with, the entrance is well protected against violence. i.e. there is security screening and cars cannot... more
