Stayed for 9 days as part of a business trip. The hotel is next to the airport but have to say could not hear planes or traffic. The facilities were very good from the coffee bar to the restaurant. The hotel has a little shopping arcade which compares well with the malls of Riyadh for price but a little high... More

Only spent one night here as I was travelling on the following day but so glad that I chose this hotel. Close to the airport, around 5 minutes in a taxi, and it really is a good hotel. The staff make you feel welcome on arrival and the rooms are superb. Didn't eat in the evening but breakfast the following... More

Very bad location, it's far away from the city and nothing around it except the airport. The style is very old and the furniture are really old. The price was over, very expensive for nothing :( The room has no carpet, just tiles and that is not a 5 star hotel. The people in the reception they were very friendly... More

Location is very good for the ones who wants to stay close to the airport.Service is very much appreciated.Personnel is very respectfull. Shuttle to the city center might be plus for the visitors.Because rent a car service is problem based on the laws.Only residents only have the right to drive a car.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location close to the airport and consider the only one hotel in that area The lobby not bad and the service is ok and the staff not bad The room is quite good but not so clean and the furniture is old with small bathroom

What are you doing if you have only a few hours between your appointments and an early morning flight? The answer is, you book your hotel close to the airport. Usually the airport hotels in capitals are not so bad so that you will not regret... Riyadh is definitely different! The hotel has the charme of a hotel in the... More

I really don't know from where to start.. the price that you pay for what you actually get is considered so expensive.. rooms are pretty old.. diwan restaurant is horrible in terms of quality, variety, salad bar is very poor, bad customer service.. do you really call pieces of chicken chopped to cubes "shish tawook" you must be joking.. taboula... We went to here to celebrate Iftar. One of the fascinating foods in the menu is the Lamb which is being cooked in front of you. You can also have some good taste of Morrocan foods especially the sauted vegetable with prawns. A must try!

I've stayed at the Makarim Riyadh Hotel two times so far. My company books us a room at this hotel because of its closeness to the airport. My coworkers and I often transit through Riyadh to other locations in the Kingdom or back to the USA several times a month- and this often requires an overnight stay in Riyadh. The... More
