I recently spent 6 nights at the Golden Tulip Hotel on business. I would not be quite as harsh as some of the other reviewers since my room was clean, but somewhat "tired". The bed was good; the desk was good; the TV was good (flat screen) and the shower and plumbing worked fine. After the 2nd night my air-conditioning... More

Very bad management apparently, untrained, confused and laid back staff. Noisy rooms if on the street side and sewage smell on the other side, they have to have double-glazed windows if they want to avoid this. Could not sleep for 3 nights for either the smell or the cars going back and forth outside. The prices are good but the... More

The appearance of the outside of the hotel is quite nice but wait until you get to see the rooms. I was in the fortunate situation that my room was furnitured with quite antique and partly broken furniture. The walls were dirty, some of the sockets were not functioning, the frame of the bathroom door partly rotten but the bed... More

Riyadh hotels are very expensive and this is the best choice under 150 usd per night..But be ready to terrible service, lazy staff and average conditions. Rooms are OK, if you just sleep, no need to try to find another place, but if you need upscale level, this is not..

This is probably the best hotel under $150 in Riyadh. But you shouldn't stay in hotels under $150 in Riyadh. Layout of hotel is very good, you can see a touch of Americana as it reminds me on hotels scattered in Midwest. There are lot of hotels in Riyadh that are just apartment block conversions, so this one has potential,... More

I requested a non smoking room and was given a very smelly smoking room. Rang to reception 3 times to get call answered. Was told a change of room will be ready at 4pm. The smell in the room was terrible. I called down just after 4pm, was told 5 mins. Called after 10 when they didn't call back. My... More

Just had dinner at Golden Tulip Hotel (Al Nasiria region). The taste was good and the price reasonable. However, the envoronment is poor, and I would never go there with friends to have fun. Certainly not a luxurious place!!!! I only had dinner here because I stay at the hotel.
