Our recent trip Overland Park, Kansas USA via Riyadh (My wife, son and I) stayed Mercure Grand Umm Al Qura for four days in April 12-16 of 2009. We were allowed to check in early and the front desk staffs were professional. Our room was on the 11th floor (standard room). Five elevators let you get there easily. The standard... more

I did stay for three nights with my family in Mercure Grand Umm Al Qura , really nice rooms equipped with good confort , i didn't have problems to reach The Haram , only about 800 meter ( about 10 minutes walk to Kaaba) with reasonable prices..I recomend it to my freinds, not crowded as Hotels facing haram.. more
