Visited Le Meridian Makkah from 13th Jan,2015 to 18th Jan, 2015. Was accompanied by husband and two kids. Location is good if not best. 6minutes walk to Haram gate. Hygiene wise very poor. Washroom was not ventilated n hence always bit stinky.....The family room was just average size...The refrigerator was foul smelling. The small kettle provided for boiling water was... More

I stayed in December 2014. The location of the hotel is good even with the construction which makes getting into the haram longer. I travelled with a family including 2 children under 6 and it was still ok. The hotel staff are generally very friendlyand it's cleanliness is good. The only issue I had was with the housekeeping, if you... More

The last week in December 2014 was a very busy time in Makkah. The hotel is within a reasonable distance from Haram (400 metres from King Fahd Gate). You have to cross 2 side roads plus barriers allowing heavy construction traffic in and out of the Grand Mosque and need to allow more time if you have young children or... More

Near to Haram about 200 meters. Clean and spacious rooms. The lunch/diner buffet offers a wide spread of selections, ranging from Local delights and International cuisine . I will definitely return for umrah with family.

Neat and tidy hotel with efficient personnel manning the front desk. Well mannered and very polite and cooperative staff in all places. Food quality needs to be improved. Will book again upon next visit.

It is very near to Haram just a walking distance about 500 meters , it is considered ok for Makkah visit but do not expect 5 star rating , it is around 3 to 4 star lacking parking spaces which is crucial in Makkah if you have a car Breakfast is ok

We used this hotel for the recent hajj program, the hotel is very close to Majid Haram, the staff were very nice and welcoming. The rooms are spacious and clean. The food is excellent with lots of variety to chose from. They ensure that whatever your dietary needs, you will certainly find something to eat from the buffet table.

Stayed at a lot of 5* hotels. This is not even close to 3* . I don't know how starwood is maintaining their standards. Rooms are smaller, service is not bad & staff is not friendly at all. Hotel should make the guests life easier not harder!

We booked this Hotel with our travel agent to perform Umraah. The Hotel was full and had to wait for 4 hours to get our rooms. Hotel is very near the Haram within 3 mins walk. This was the good thing in it. Breakfast was ok and rooms were neat and clean. Staff was cooperative.
