We stayed at here for 5 nights, with my elderly mum, two children and husband. From the start our experience was nothing but FANTASTIC, Alhamdulillah the room, the service and most of all the breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful. We called for assistance on many occasions and the hotel were prompt and efficient at dealing with our requests. I... More

I hate this place!i really hate it! The receptionist are very lousy, the rooms are dirty and they smell like urine,a receptionist called me by 1 in the morning telling me that he has to change my room and that they gave me the wrong room, who's fault is it. I was already asleep that night so I got angry, what kind... More

We have been staying at this particular rotana everytime we come to Makkah for umrah. All my previous stays were just there, nothing to write home about but this particular stay irritated me that I just had to share my experience. We arrived to check in only to find out that our rooms were not ready. A 'ten minute wait'... More

I Stayed in the hotel for a night on 31st March while on a visit for Umrah to Makkah. To be very honest this hotel should not have a two star rating also. Room are dirty, carpets have stain, bathroom stinks as there is no ventilation. I have stayed in some of the best hotels and i only write a bad... More

Find yourself another hotel. The staff is not friendly, helpful or respectful. Rooms are not properly cleaned and will leave trash in the room or not replace towels. Reception will not greet you with a smile or tell you about the hotel amenities. There is only free wifi in lobby and you have to pay 15 riyals (about $4) per... More

Room wasn't that convenience. However Some furniture needs upgrading. There is an iron board and hair drier. The best thing of this hotel is it is very close to the Holy mosque so within few minutes you can be in the new section of the holy place. The worst was the bathroom. There was no tub or glass screen or... More

My family and I booked a 5 night stay and we have had a mix experience. My experience of the staff working in reception were lazy and unprofessional. When we checked in, I believe a guy called Hasan told me that I couldn't pay by credit card because the card machine wasn't working and directed me to an ATM machine.... More

The location is great but this is where it ends. The room wasn't clean with a stained carpet. The bathroom is too tiny and the shower door leaked. We had to complain to get house keeping done. Staff members aren't friendly but this is everywhere in Mecca! So don't count on this being a 5 or even 4 stars hotel.

I have stayed at this place twice and we loved it very much. The rooms are spacious and it has the view of the Kaaba. Below the hotel is the mall, hence, it is easy to find food if you dont feel like cooking. And it is just 2-3 minutes walk from the doors of Masjidil Haraam. The service is... More
