A very clean and nice hotel, near the Haram(al Kaba) buses take to the haram if some one cannot walk. very good breakfast and spacious dining area. Bathrooms were clean we stayed in a suit with our kids extra bed was provided for a surcharge. lots of restaurants and cafeterias nearby.

I stayed at Al shohada hotel for 10 days during the Hajj season 1435 / 2014. Although it is difficult to evaluate any hotel during hajj season rather than other time in the year, yet my stay was pleasant & higher than my expectations during this time of the year. The good things are many, the hotel architecture and interior... More

First off, I want to mention that this hotel is not as close to the Masjid as you think. If you hear the athan and head out, you'll most likely have to pray outside because it's too late to make it indoors. It's packed. And it's far. Having said that, it's a 5-star hotel and my family and I have... More

We stayed here while performing Hajj and Umrah. The hotel is very clean, good daily services with cleaning and providing the essentials we needed. A close walk to the Kaaba so didn't feel it was too far after completing tawaf etc. Hotel is close to chemist and shopping aswell. The daily buffet breakfast was the highlight of this hotel, such... I stayed for a week in the Ramadhan of 2014 in this hotel. The Taxi from the airport couldn't take us to the hotel as the area was blocked due to Isha prayer. The Taxi had to take a long round around the city and at the end dropped us at a bus station where buses were allowed to enter... More

I stayed here while performing 'Umrah. I booked a 'quad room' which was essentially a double room with four single beds. The hotel was clean, very well maintained and facilities were good. There is a very spacious and comfortable lobby. The thing that stood out was the customer service. It is clear that the management have paid attention here and... More

Hardship is reawared thoroughly during Umrah and this is exactly what we endured here. Firstly we had been completely ripped off with the room. Booking a quad room we discovered they had given us a double room with 4 single beds. They very strategically removed all other furniture from the room to make space. The location is very bad. If... I stayed in this hotel with my wife for one week in February 2014, for Umrah. The hotel from outside is not impressive and doesn’t seem fancy, but once you get in you will know why it is unique and beautiful. It has a very oriental design in every detail. The lobby and floors halls are full of beautiful Islamic... More

I stayed in this Hotel end of February 2014. Checked in ok, hotel is clean, nice lobby, no Wifi, no teakettle in room, the breakfast buffet was cold and not very good every day. There was no fresh egg omelette. I booked Double room there was a door between two rooms. In next room a family with 3 children were... More

We stayed in this hotel for four days, one of the most annoying things about pictures is that they do not describe the sounds. When looking at the picture of this hotel it sure looked very fancy, and it was, but the hotel is surrounded by construction work which make noises 24/7. When we arrived at this hotel they didn't...
