The pros; - A really nice and big lobby (not that it matters much but it's nice when going in and out the hotel) - Rooms are very clean and kept to a high standard and the bathroom was very nice. You also get a small selection of fruit on arrival which was nice. - Beds are nice and big... More

I staid at Al Shohada Hotel for one night, and I wish I had the time to stay more... hotel was easy to find, easy to park the car, check in was efficient and quick, lobby was magnificent and luxurious... the room was cozy, comfortable, neat and very clean... I ordered a club sandwich from room service, and it was... More

Just few words, room service sucks! I have been there with my father and brother in a triple room for an Ummrah trip. You have to call the room service many times to respond Most of the house keeping members don't get your room well done except if you paid a good tips, they might ignore it at all. In... More

We stayed in this hotel in past however during our stay this time there is an obvious deterioration in the standard of services provided. On arrival there was no booking on the system although we submitted a booking voucher. it them another 20 minutes to accept the voucher. The hotel charges for wifi even in the lobby. You have to... This a big hotel but not very close to Masjid Al-Haram. It is around 400 meters away from Haram Sharif but at a walkable distance. All types of shops are available surrounding this hotel for shopping, dining etc.

I been to the hotel several times, the hotel location not far from Haram plus shuttle bus is available most of the time ; breakfast is very good Room was very clean, comfortable and very wide. Sitting at the hole is very comfortable.

The hotel is very good in everything, the only disadvantage that it is not the most close to Masjed ElHaraam , if you will walk it will take around seven to ten minutes to reach Masjed ElHaraam, the also offer a shuttle bus service round trip, but this will not be efficient in high seasons like Ramadan or Hajj.

Had issues with bathroom. Customer service was virtually non existent. Charging 5 star prices but providing a poor service. Accommodation would say is 3 plus stars but their customer service was a real let down. No free wifi access at all.

If you want wifi you must pay 20 riyal per hour or 25 for a day PER DEVICE and you can only use it in the lobby not in your room. I bought an Internet only sim card and now use it to browse the web/ check my mail. Also you can't make your own tea/coffee, the water heter is... More
