This hotel was fine for its price range and very well located. Slightly dated decor and the bathroom fixtures were a bit broken and shabby however it was clean and comfortable and my room had an excellent view of the Church of St.George (houses the famous Mosaic Map) which was just across the road from the hotel. more

The Madaba Inn Hotel was very clean and modern. The rooms were comfortable and mine had an outlook onto the famous church. The staff spoke enough English to be able to direct us to an excellent and inexpensive restaurant which was an easy walk. We felt very safe at this hotel. more

Do not stay at this hotel. The rooms smell badly, there is no hot water day or night so no shower, curtains are broken and television doesn't work. Come for the day; you can see all the sites in 4 hours and leave. more

Cheap, clean, spacious rooms, free internet, great location (close to the main attraction, the Madaba mosaic map and as a reviewer said close to a very nice restaurant which's name I can hardly type). Stayed 1 night in the Madaba Inn in Oct07. Booked directly from its website. The response (by Tahgreed) was speedy. She also provided clear directions to the hotel. Madaba is ideally placed for day trips north of Amman (Jeresh, Aljoun, Um Qais), east to the dead sea (Mt Nebo, Hammarmat Main Hot Springs, Baptism Site) and Amman itself, but it is quieter than Amman. Even though Madaba is not really a special location. Transportation to other places is hard to get or unreliable to organise. If you stuck the Madaba Inn is a great option with good quality and comfy rooms. 'Flexible' Rate and great front desk staff. Especially Taghreed - she was very helpfull in trying to organise transportation. more
