Stayed as part of a tour and also booked an extra night at the start, very reasonable - 45JOD for the 2 of us in 1 room including breakfast. I have seen other reviews saying they had to pay for wifi - I asked at reception and was given a free code (not sure why others had to pay?) -... More

When we first arrived I was concerned by state of the renovations we passed going to our room. Room itself was fine comfy bed and nice large modern bathroom. Breakfast was reasonable and requests were politely fulfilled. Area felt safe and all the shopping you could wish for on your doorstep. Do try the coffee shop ( for beans and... More

Stayed at this hotel as part of a G adventure tour. Close proximity to shopping malls and super markets. Very far from downtown - do not try and walk take a taxi which would cost 3-4JOD max don't pay anymore. We tried to get an extension for 1 room and they wanted another 45 JOD - no value there so... WE stayed for two (non consecutive) nights in different rooms. The first night was a room at the from which was VERY noisy from the street below until about 3am. The second night was a room at the back which was quieter but had an industrial hum all the time from I think the hotel extractor. The advantage of the... More

Big rooms and an old faded hotel in an upmarket shopping district. Attentive staff and good housekeeping. Pretty good included breakfast. Dreadful internet that was very slow and continually dropped out. About 15 min taxi trip downtown.

We stayed here 2 nights (first and last) as part of our tour through Jordan. It's a nice hotel for a short stay, clean, quiet, has everything you would need. I would've liked the wifi to be free but it wasn't outrageous - 2JD for an hour which fulfilled what we needed to get done. The breakfast is okay in... More

We have stayed at this hotel for 1 night only after our arrival in Jordan. The staff is kind and helpful and the rooms are clean, even if the toilet should be renewed a little bit. I cannot say anything about the quality/price ratio, as the night rate was included in a holiday package organized with a local tour operator

Let me preface this with, according to someone else who stayed there, we got one of the better rooms. That being said it was a comfortable stay, the bathroom was very nice and clean. The bed was pretty comfortable compared to other hotels we stayed in Jordan. The food is okay, the breakfast always seemed like it was one day... More

A comfortable hotel in the city. Stayed with a large group. The beds and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Food was fine, a good mix of salads and hot food, especially liked the almond cake! Must have stayed at the same time as Lena L, I don't think the staff were prepared for over 100 people descending for breakfast before... More

I stayed at the Liwan Hotel for 8 nights for a work related trip to Amman. It was a very basic hotel, but I suppose it is OK for the price you pay for it. For the positives, it has a good location. Located in Swefiyeh, it has a number of places to eat and shop around it. It is... More
