My wife and I stayed at the Farah hotel in 2012 when we were living in Abu Dhabi and went to Jordan on holiday. We loved the hotel; the staff were really friendly and the location was great. Through the hotel we hired Mr Mosa to drive us around Jordan for about one week - he is highly recommended. He... More

We travelled to amman, and we really need place to sleep. I google a nice place to stay for the night, and.... Tadaaa Farah Hotel. The best, budget hotel. Located behind Arab Bank, it is guarded by police officer (we ask the police where the hotel was). Staff is very friendly, helpful, and cooperative. Located near a lot of shop,... More

The staff were amazing, it was clean and in a great place (just around the corner from brilliant places for food like Hasem and Jerusalem). Good value at 36JD per night. I would highly recommend this place. They also do trips to various places and these are great value for money. Just sign up when you get there. They also... More

This was a fairly basic b anb b and pretty much what you would expect from the pictures online. It was a friendly enough place though and the breakfast and location was good. Cheap but cheerful!........

Reading hostel reviews in Amman can be a very discouraging experience, as you may have realised by this point. I'm glad I chose to stay in Farah hotel because I had a good experience there. This is actually more of a hostel than a hotel. It is located downtown, just minutes walk from the famous Hashem restaurant and 15 minutes... More

Hostel is located in downtown Amman, easy to get around the city. Building needs major renovations, not very clean. Beds and rooms were dusty. Heat did not work in room. Hot water was limited and only available for a few hours in the mornings. Wi-fi is limited as well and if you exceeded the capacity you were cut off. Some... More

I appreciated their help arranging a day tour to the Dead Sea & surroundings for me. They have very fair prices for good tours. Their hospitality and help with this is better than other Amman hotels I dealt with.

Spent about a week in Amman and stayed at Farah. The rooms are quite small but are close to the bathrooms and has comfortable beds. The AC in the room are vital, either to combat the heat or cold, we fought back both in our stay. The breakfast is quite spartan, but still all you need to get up in... More

This place has a hostel-like atmosphere, and this is meant to describe it in a positive light. The host was friendly as can be, very helpful with our plans to briefly visit Israel the next morning, and connected us with a taxi driver who brought us to the Israeli-Jordanian border for a non-outrageous price. If you arrive at night it... More

I recommend the Farah Hotel to anyone who is looking for a cheap, friendly hotel with basic facilities right in the centre of downtown Amman. The service given by reception is outstanding. The staff are welcoming, untiringly friendly and very helpful. They have a very wide knowledge about what to see in Amman, transport available both within and outside Amman... More
